It’s was lovely
Everything
Es war sehr schön. Das beste Frühstück, das wir bei unserer Irland bekommen haben. Wir machten auch drinnen viele Fotos, weil es so viele tolle Motive gab.
Nichts
Delicious food and drinks at the restaurants and bars. The brunch was exceptional with everything you could want. The quality of the food and wait stuff was top tier. The rooms were all very clean.
Loved the building and the atmosphere.
I didn’t feel the staff were well trained in customer service. There were a few interactions that were unsatisfactory.
Great location following late arrival into Dublin Airport. The room was very comfortable and enjoyed a restful night's sleep. The Irish Breakfast is buffet style so you can help yourself to your favourites. The castle has a fascinating history and provides a backdrop for some memorable pics.
The building is amazing, the decor really feels like a proper castle. The restaurant is top class as well. The breakfast was rich, nothing missing. The staff service was great as well.
I had no fridge in the room, had to ask for one, then the one they brought wouldn't fit in the cabinet so it had to be left standing in the corner. The staff acted really quick, but I just expected to not have to deal with stuff like this. Also when I asked about the fridge, the first thing I heard was "what do you want the fridge for?" - felt a bit nosey to question imo, like it makes any difference, I expected yes sir I'm on my way. I put in the fridge a drink, food or my jocks if I want to wear them cold, nobody else's business. The room in general was pretty but it felt below the standard of the entire hotel, probably because the corridors are VERY well finished and decorated, I felt a bit of contrast. Also I couldn't get to use YouTube or Netflix on TV, wanted to login to my accounts to enjoy some content but the TV was fixed to a hotel system, felt limited, but I didn't even ask the staff about it,.maybe there was a way. The view from my room was a plain stone wall, also a bit of a suprise even though I wasn't promised a spectacular view, I wouldn't expect to look at a wall. Avoid the room 214.
Exceptional staff and breakfast buffet in beautiful and historic setting. Good value for a first class hotel. A great place for an international visitor to get a taste of Ireland.
Slightly farther from city center than I had expected and less expansive surrounding grounds than advertised.
It was beautiful and all inclusive. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Can’t think of anything.
Excellent accommodations mixed with the historic glamour of a historic Irish castle with lots of charm. Amazing staff, great Breakfast. Easy access to much of Dublin. Comfortable clean room.
Liked everything. We missed the ferry and had a last minute 2 rooms needed. We were accommodated with a happy smile ans everything was just perfect.
