Excellent stay booked at short notice.
Pros:

Love the way the exterior of the castle incorporates the interior of the hotel entrance and foyer.

Cons:

The HDMI ports on the TV's appear to have been disabled and had no obvious smart capabilities.

Breakfast was excellent

Cons:

No wifi coverage at all in my first room - Staff sent a technician and he couldn’t do anything. Next day, they shifted me into a new room. Wifi was better but it was always interrupted. Not smooth at all. Also, in the second room that I got (much bigger as they upgraded me), TV wasn’t working. I got pretty fed up and didn’t even complain. It’s a castle hotel and they should pay attention to Wifi and TV etc

I was simply say they can’t recommend Clontarf Castle hotel enough.
Pros:

I enjoyed the location and the quality of the property itself, and most of all the staff. They were superb.

Cons:

We happened to be staying there during a very busy period, and hence the parking was challenging.

Great stay for access to concerts in nearby park
Pros:

We stayed here to attend a concert at the nearby St Anne's Park. Very glad we did. Mostly I rate it high for access to what we needed which saved us a huge amount of travel time. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to make our stay special. Thank you.

Cons:

Some noise from the corridor came under the door but it didn't interrupt our sleep. Better soundproofing is my only suggestion.

A trip full of memories that took me back in time and definitely in my top 3 favourite hotels in our gorgeous country. T

This property was simply perfect. The stunning entrance with plenty of parking which is rare. The location is so safe, secure and the hotel itself I feel is a hidden gem. I never heard tell of this hotel before I came across it on booking.com and I will 100% return.

Cons:

I genuinely find it difficult to fault anything about this property. I guess if I was being very picky I could say I love berries and would have loved more selection of fruit for breakfast. Strawberries and raspberries are my favourite but I was more than satisfied with the beautifully buffet and savoury snacks.
