Nettes, ruhiges Hotel in bester Lage
Pros:

Buchung und Check-in waren einfach und unkompliziert. Ich konnte auch bereits früher in mein Zimmer als 15 Uhr. Das Zimmer war gross, geräumig, sauber und erinnerte mich ein wenig an das Schlafzimmer meiner Grosseltern. Die Betten waren bequem, das Badezimmer hell, sauber und riesig mit grosser Wanne und separater Dusche. Das Zimmer verfügte über einen Schrank mit genügend Abstellmöglichkeiten und einen Safe. Da mein Zimmer nach hinten raus lag, war es auch sehr ruhig und ich habe die Kirchenglocke, die von vielen moniert wird, kaum gehört. Das Zimmer war, nachdem ich vom Frühstück kam, bereits gereinigt. Wenn man länger als drei Nächte bleibt, bekommt man eine Gästekarte, mit der der ÖV, diverse Bahnen, Museumseintritte und sogar die An- und Abreise mit dem ÖV gratis sind. Das ist grosszügig. Das Frühstück war gut. Man konnte sich sein Frühstücksei nach Belieben selbst kochen, der Kaffee war auch sehr gut. Als Gast kann man sich rund um die Uhr gratis selbst mit Kaffee aller Art und Tee versorgen. Die wenigen Mitarbeitenden, die ich zu Gesicht bekam, waren freundlich. Das Hotel ist in bester Lage, 5 Minuten fussläufig vom Bahnhof und direkt in der Hauptgasse, umgeben von Läden und Cafés und Restaurants. Alle Museen sind easy zu Fuss erreichbar.

Cons:

Im Grunde gibt es nichts zu bemängeln. Aufgrund des grossen Lobes für das Frühstück fand ich selbiges etwas übersichtlich. Ein frischgepresster Saft vielleicht oder an einem Tag mal Rührei, ein bisschen Gemüse oder mal Rohschinken hätte es durchaus vertagen. Für Veganer dürfte es auch sehr schwierig werden. Das, was vorhanden war, war aber gut und am Ende auch ausreichend. Die Kopfkissen waren eher unbequem. Aber wie gesagt, das ist Jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Great location in a great place
Pros:

The location was superb and we could park the car in a private car park. The hotel is very nice and rooms are big and comfortable. It was near some of the attractions of the city. Our dog was very comfortable as well. The breakfast was gorgeous and with a great wide of variety...
Appenzell is really and amazing place to visit with many shops and restaurants and surrounded by beautiful mountains and with the river next to it.

Cute hotel room tucked away in the small town.
Pros:

Pretty close to transportation, clean and cute room! Breakfast provided was tasty.

Cons:

The hotel was quite confusing to navigate to find our room, but manageable. We also found that the window was onto a relatively busy street which made it loud during the day and evening. The church is next door and the bells that ring often are quite loud which can be disturbing to your sleep !

Agréable
Pros:

Très bien le déjeuner et le personnel ainsi que l'emplacement.

Cons:

La vue sur un autre toit n'était pas terrible ainsi que le matelas un peu mou. La TV ne fonctionnait pas et il manque à mon avis la Clim et un frigo pour une chambre double à 238.-

Cons:

Fenêtre de la chambre en vis-à-vis du clocher de l'église St Maurice dont les cloches sonnent tous les quarts d'heure.
