Location was good but room wasn’t delux. Disappointing.
Pros:

Location. Near to train station and restaurants.

Cons:

Delux double with balcony was a stretch of the English language. Double yes. Delux definitely not. Balcony too small, one plastic stool, no table, above the big street bins, only good for drying small clothes items. Bathroom were small. One plate, one spoon and one fork for two people.

I requested to extend my stay by one additional night. Prior to approaching reception, I checked Booking.com, which indicated that rooms were available. However, the receptionist initially informed me that no rooms were available. He then offered a rate that was significantly higher than the price listed on Booking.com. When I presented the Booking.com rate, he promptly reduced the price.

He subsequently asked whether I intended to pay by card or cash. I indicated that I would pay by card. After a brief pause, he stated that only cash payments were accepted. When I pointed out that he had just asked about payment by card or cash, he did not address the inconsistency and continued to insist on cash payment.

I explained that I did not have sufficient cash at that time and offered to settle the payment at checkout, but this was declined. Instead, I was instructed to go to an ATM and return with cash.

The interaction appeared to change after I was asked about my nationality, and I was left with the impression that I may have been treated differently as a result. I have traveled extensively and stayed in many hotels, and I have not encountered a similar situation before. This experience was disappointing and made me feel uncomfortable.

As a result, I decided to leave the hotel. Although I had initially planned to store my luggage there, I no longer felt comfortable doing so and chose to depart with all my belongings. I subsequently booked accommodation at another hotel.

Pros:

Very clean and rooms all modern, and good value place. Good neighbourhood in old town, lots of places to eat around the corner but in a more local area so you get to enjoy a more authentic experience of istanbul! Quiet and peaceful at night so wont have any trouble sleeping!

Great area and room was quite comfortable. Staff was great and very welcoming. Was here due to a 24 hr layover and would have liked to stay more. Will be back if im in Turkey again.

Cons:

Only issue was when I arrived in the room, it smelled like someone had smoked in the room which was unpleasant.

Pros:

we stayed here as two guests and had a wonderful experience. the room was excellent - clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. everything felt new, including the furniture, which made the stay even more pleasant.

the location is perfect, right in the city center. most of the main attractions are within walking distance, which was very convenient for us.

the staff were amazing - very polite, friendly, and always willing to help.

the only small downside was that the bathroom was quite small and a bit inconvenient. however, considering the affordable price, we think it is absolutely worth it.

overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would happily recommend this hotel to other travelers.

We had an excelent overall experience staying at Ninova. In our opinion the hotel offers very good value for the cost of

- the room was large enough to feel comfortable;
- recently renovated rooms;
- rooms have a fridge and small kitchen facilities;
- good location;
- helpful and very friendly staff;
- had slippers, clean towels, overall good cleaning service;

Cons:

- water overflowed the shower cabin at times;
- found a couple of small stains on the bed linen;
