Good and not so good surprises
Pros:

The hotel is very nice, very organized and clean. The beds are comfortable, all super clean and beautiful. The breakfast is wonderful and the staff is very kind and warm. The restaurant is great as well! The location is very good for someone with family. We could enjoy water with a little kid and a dog with no problems. The room has a fridge, so I could bring and manage the little one' special food and fruits for the non main meals.
There is a small supermarket nearby but with some options of fruits and none for non frozen food. It is very close as well from the cable car that took us up to the mountains for a very beautiful view of the alps and amazing restaurants and entertainment for all ages. We would come back, but there are some low points I would pay more attention before booking.

Cons:

The days we were on vacation were extremely hot.35 deg celsius and blue skies all day long for 4 days. The rooms achieved easily more than 30 degrees at night. We kept all closed with coutains closed during the day. But the double rooms we booked were absurdly hot at night with poor conditions for sleeping well.It rained 1 day thanks the heavens to cool all a bit. Not enough tough to diminish temperatures to to sleep in the second floor of the room. I believe it is necessary for the hotel to address this issue. Another low point is that our room was near to the lighted hotel sign. We needed to open the windows and the door from the terrace to the max to make it a bit tolerable to stay inside. So the sign kept all iluminated the whole night. For my baby, all the nights were challenging to fall asleep because of the luminosity. The rooms that are not right by the side of the sign ( the ones our parents stayed in) had no issue with light/ dakness. But of course, they had the same issue with the temperature. The hotel provided portable funs that helped poorly. For such nice hotel and acommodations, for me, it would be hard to believe someone would face them.
The third low point was that on Tuesdays ALL restaurants and delivery CLOSE! We managed to eat that night some snacks I brought for any emergency. For a touristic place, imagine our surprise to find out that even the restaurant mentioned as opened in google was not.

Für eine Nacht ok, aber auch kein Luxus
Pros:

- Nähe zur Talstation Unterterzen
- Frühstück mit lokalen Produkten
- Check-in und -out verfahren online
- Restaurant Einrichtung
- Vorraum zu allen Hotelzimmern mit doppelter Tür, somit kein Lärm vom Flur hörbar!

Cons:

- Preis zu hoch für das was angeboten wird
- Dusche in Badewanne mit extrem geringem Wasserdruck
- kleine Zimmer mit wenig Charme
- Parkplatz etwa 200-300 Meter vom Hotel entfernt

Tolles Zimmer, perfekte Lage, nette Gastgeber – gerne wieder!
Pros:

Ein wunderbarer Zwischenstopp am Walensee! Wir hatten ein Superior-Doppelzimmer mit Seeblick, und das war wirklich toll: hohe Decken, tadellos sauber, sehr bequeme Betten. Vom Blick auf See und Berge konnte man sich kaum losreißen.
Die Lage ist ideal – die Badestelle liegt nur zwei Gehminuten neben dem Hotel. Be- und Entladen ist direkt vor der Tür möglich, der Parkplatz ist ebenfalls in zwei Minuten zu Fuß erreicht.
Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend.
Die Gegend ist ruhig und entspannt. Selbst bei 36 °C und entsprechend vielen Badegästen hat es sich nie voll angefühlt – das verläuft sich alles erstaunlich gut.

Cons:

Zwei kleine Anmerkungen, beides Jammern auf hohem Niveau: Bei 36 °C wäre eine Klimaanlage schön gewesen – mit offener Balkontür und Jalousie auf Durchzug hatten wir aber trotzdem eine angenehme Nacht. Und beim Frühstück hätten wir uns etwas mehr Auswahl gewünscht; Rührei, Bacon und Pancakes waren bei uns durchgehend leer (vielleicht auch schlechtes Timing unsererseits). Da es im Preis enthalten war, ging das für uns in Ordnung – für die sonst üblichen 20–25 CHF hätte es sich allerdings etwas knapp angefühlt.

Spielplätze für Kinder in- und outdoor, gute Lage am See, schöner Balkon, ansprechendes Zmorgenbuffet, Nähe zum Bahnhof

Cons:

Verstopfter Abfluss im Bad und übler Kanalisationsgestank, enges Zimmer, teilweise unfreundliches Personal, Menukarte des Restaurants relativ eng beschränkt insbesondere in Bezug auf Beilagen (häufig nur Pommes, keine gesünderen Beilagen wie Reis, Teigwaren, Rösti, Salzkartoffeln etc für Kinder), Infrastruktur teilweise "heruntergekommen"
