Great location in Lancaster. Although we had to use the public car park this was neither difficult or expensive. We had a large room and tea and coffee as well as delicious shortbread biscuits were provided. They also provide a shower safety mat which we really appreciated. Lovely walk in shower. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable as was the bedding. Although central our room was very quiet although I cannot comment for other rooms. It was nice being able to go next door to the Pub for drinks and meals. We had dinner one night. It was nice. The drinks selection is brilliant. Staff are lovely and very helpful.
Our Room (2) was "next door" to the pub and restaurant. Whilst this was not a problem for us, some people might find this inconvenient so you may want to check when you are booking.
Great location! Very friendly staff. Comfy bed, clean room and great service!!
It was very hot to sleep. Fan was not cooling us down and it was impossible to open the window to get the fresh air.

Would have liked a bit more flexibility from the staff when I turned up on the wrong evening.
No rooms available I was told, so save losing the reservation I drove home to Glasgow & returned the following evening.
Had they given me the opportunity to rebook @ no extra cost, I could have found alternative accommodation for that evening &.returned to the Borough @ a later date.
Won't be back on that basis. We all make mistakes, but if a hotel can't use common sense & reschedule a booking due to a genuine error by a customer, I certainly won't be back....
Very good location in Lancaster and popular bar with locals. We cycled there and didn't leave the hotel untill the next day. Stayed in for drinks and evening dinner.
Slight misunderstanding on my part with the booking and my bed choices and the fact breakfast wasn't included in the room rate.
