Beautiful Experience
Pros:

Lovely hotel in the countryside surrounded by olive groves. The room was spacious and very well decorated. The breakfast was excellent and offered many options (porridge, pancakes, eggs, etc.). We had dinner in the restaurant our first night, the food and service were excellent. We also ate in the small bar one night when we wanted a light dinner, the food and service were very good.
We visited in April and enjoyed the outdoor and indoor pools.
We had a car and found this an excellent base for our travels to Monopoli, Alberobello and other towns in the area.

Cons:

There was nothing we did not like.

Very spacious room, very smart decor both in the bedroom and in the public rooms. Poole area was traditional but very very well maintained and excellent service with regard to Sun loungers, any drink you might like to have and the property overall was kept spotlessly clean. For example gardeners were out every day looking after the shrubs, beautiful orange trees and sweeping the payhs and walkways.

Cons:

The first room we were offered was very dark. I don’t know why Hotels always do this. We asked if we could have a much lighter room and they changed it straight away and put us on the first floor. I do not know if it would’ve been possible to do this in the high season, which is a potential issue.

There is a step down from the entrance hallway to the bedroom. This is a potential hasard especially if you are older.

We all enjoyed our stay at the hotel.
Pros:

The hotel is located in the countryside, just outside of the town of Monopoli, which is he nicest town in the area. The buildinds are quite old but well kept. The staff are very attentive and friendly. The Breakfast is excellent with a large range of food available, both hot and cold. The outdoor pool is also well attended by the staff and well kept.

Cons:

The electric fittings in the room were limited and were old. using uk-eu convertors was difficult. They probably need upgrading.

schöne anlage mit weniger schönem zimmer

sehr schöne weitläufige hotelanlage mit vielen schönen bereichen, sitzgelegenheiten, schöner pool mit liegen und handtuchservice. sehr gutes frühstück mit guter speisenauswahl, nett gekellnert. sehr aufmerksammer zimmer-service.

Cons:

leider hat uns das „deluxe-doppelzimmer“ nicht wirklich gut gefallen. wie viele zimmer lag es direkt an einem umlaufenden hotelweg und noch dazu ein paar stufen tiefer, was bei uns etwas souterrain-feeling ausgelöst hat. wegen der lage an den wegen, bzw. dem parkplatzblick blieben die fensterläden 5 tage meist geschlossen - sonst hätte man voll ins zimmer schauen können - schade für ein zimmer in so schöner landschaft/anlage. unser sofortiger wunsch zu wechseln wurde leider freundlich abgelehnt. auch hat uns das (bei den hohen zimmerpreisen) enorme angebot an aufpreispflichtigen und sehr hochpreisigen zusatzangeboten nicht gefallen.

Fairy tale resort, seemed too good to be true!

A Warm Welcome and a True 5-Star Stay
Pros:

From the moment we arrived, the welcome from the team was outstanding. The property is absolutely beautiful and immediately felt warm, welcoming and friendly. It was such a lovely touch to be met at the car by the concierge, who helped with our luggage and guided us to reception. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the whole team made a wonderful first impression.

Our room was very comfortable and beautifully maintained. The bathroom felt fresh and recently renovated, with excellent amenities — including an amazing heated towel rail, which we loved.

Breakfast was another highlight. The buffet was very generous, with a delicious range of options, and the cooked breakfast from the kitchen was excellent too, especially the eggs and pancakes.

The team’s advice for day trips and restaurants was also incredibly helpful, and Alessandra in particular was amazing. Her recommendations really added to the experience.

Overall, it was a true 5-star stay.

Cons:

Honestly, very little. It was a wonderful experience overall.
