Pros:

Our room was comfortable and relatively spacious for Europe. Very clean and comfortable. Liked that you could totally enclose the shower. It also had great character with the sloping floor, exposed beams and attic-type ceiling.

Todella persoonallinen hotelli erittäin vanhassa rakennuksessa. Tyylikäs kylpyhuone ja ravintolatilat myös.

Best hotel for walking to all sites in Bryggen!
Pros:

Location was amazing! We walked to everything in the medieval area, including the Floribama. Room was very spacious and well done with the original old beams and walls intact. It was like we were staying in the 1702 hotel with modern facilities! We were on the 4th floor and the lift only went to the third. It was fine for us, but definitely could be a challenge for some guests.

Cons:

Bring an eye mask for sleeping. In June, the sun never really sets and window coverings are translucent.

Pros:

Location is superb - close enough to everything you want to see/do but still quiet at night. Excellent public transport connections and a 10 minute walk from the train station. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Highly recommended.

moderne Einrichtung in den Zimmern, die im alten Stil renoviert wurden. Man muss sich an die schrägen Böden gewöhnen, aber es ghehört zu einem alten Gebäude

Cons:

Ich hätte mir an der Bar jemanden gewünscht, der sich um die Kunden kümmert und nicht nur mit einem Landsmann plaudert. Wenn ich nicht aktiv nach einem Apero gefragt hätte, wären wir nicht bedient worden

Lovely hotel, full of character and stile, room was spacious. Separate large bath and shower. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was superb, lots of choice and variety. Great location, next to the harbour in the heart of the town.

Cons:

On the day we were leaving, there was an a disagreement between a resident and the female receptionist in the lobby. When the resident left, the receptionist was explaining what had happened to a colleague, she used swear words when referring to the resident. This was in the bar/lounge area, it could clearly be heard by us and another couple seated in the lounge area. Very unprofessional.

Cozy, comfortable, authentic, and perfect location!
Pros:

The location was perfect! And the design/decor felt very cozy and authentic. The breakfast was great, as well!
