Underwhelming, very underwhelming
Pros:

It was certainly a huge improvement from the last time I was there. The breakfast is one of the better ones I have had in Kisumu. The staff especially the breakfast service were fantastic as well the door staff.

Cons:

There was a huge discrepancy between advertised room “Queen Deluxe” with all kinds of trimmings and what I got, which was clean but fairly basic, decent enough but hardly qualifies as deluxe ( I was told that was the “entry-level” room).If I knew the room I was getting before had, I would most certainly not have paid even half of the so-called discounted rate and that is assuming i would have taken it min the first place. For that discounted rate, there are better rooms with great views all over Kisumu. And my experience with the food -inedible samosa- did not improve things (which is why I went out for supper, something I had not intended to) though the breakfast kind of compensated. I get the impression that some local hotels in Kenya are taking those who use booking.com for a ride. I would have gotten a better room for less had I done the booking directly or used local travel agent.

A nice hotel with good location and good breakfast.
Pros:

The hotel is taking care of Ramdan Iftaar dinner and Sahoor breakfast for the muslim customer. I like it.

Cons:

Bit expensive compare to faciltiies.

Ok for a clean bed , a little overpriced for what it offers.
Pros:

After a long road trip from Nakuru we stopped overnight in kisumu , we decided Sarova because we were delighted with the stay in Sarova Nakuru. However the experience was different , city and mainly used by businesses. The room was clean , and had a pleasant night stay.

Cons:

Felt like a luxury prison , the mosquitoes and river flies were everywhere.
