A really beautiful location nearby but just outside Hofn. Technically you would not need to detour into Hofn if this was just a stop on a ring road trip, as it is right off the main road (but we did decide to go into the town which was nice). I was a bit skeptical that the photos would be accurate because they are so beautiful but it really did match the photos. Nice comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the fields with mountains in the distance. Comfortable clean room and bed. Sink and outlets right in the room with shared WC (but a good guest to WC ratio- I never felt like I needed to wait for it). Nice rustic log cabin vibe. Good breakfast which included cold cuts/sandwiches, yoghurt/skyr, pastries, good coffee. I would definitely go back again.

Freundlichkeit des Personals, Frühstück, Ausblick aus dem Zimmer. Lage ist (sehr) gut, wenn man ein Auto hat.
Badezimmer könnte man ein wenig erneuern, der Rest des Zimmers gefällt.

Alle 4 de kamers waren bezet en dat is wat veel om toilet en douche te delen. Hierdoor ook gehorig.

Wat een prachtige locatie voor een geweldig Hotel. Je kijkt zo op de bergen en op de zee. De rust en stilte is een cadeautje.
De kamers waren netjes en schoon met geweldig uitzicht. Het ontbijt was heerlijk en goed verzorgd en je hebt alle mogelijkheden om ergens lekker te zitten.
Jammer dat we niet in het restaurant konden eten omdat dit nog het seizoen nog niet was, maar de gastvrouw gaf ons een tip voor een lekker restaurant in Akureyri, zo'n 15 minuutjes rijden.

Location was great, really convenient to Hofn and the rest of ring road; cute and cozy place to stay for one night, enjoyed the beautiful views and yummy breakfast!
