POSIZIONE BELLISSIMA, CONFORT MEDIO
Pros:

Posizione spettacolare con vista sul ghiacciaio. A pochi chilometri da Hofn.

Cons:

Si definisce "country hotel", ci si aspetta un posto con un po' di charme ma si tratta in realtà di una struttura tipo agriturismo con bungalow ed aree comuni piuttosto spartani. Nella descrizione dell'hotel è indicata la presenza di un ristorante di cui però (almeno a giugno) non vi è traccia. Per fortuna che Hofn ha molti ottimi locali. Buona la colazione. MOLTO caro per quello che offre, 30% in più di un hotel 4 stelle a Selfoss, che pure è nel Circolo d'Oro.

Excellent stay would definetly go back.
Pros:

Beautiful setting. I stayed in both a room and in a cabin and both are a great option. Great restaurant on site (it was only op en one of the days but great comms from the property to let me know). We had lamb shank one day it was phenomenal. There is another restaurant in the hotel next door in case.

Pros:

Die Lage des Hotels hat uns sehr gut gefallen, es liegt direkt in der Nähe von einem Gletscher. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Haupthaus mit Gletscherblick. Im Zimmer gibt es auch einen Wasserkocher um sich Tee oder Kafee zu machen.
Das Frühstück war lecker und es gab genügend Auswahl.

Cons:

Leider sind hier viele kleine Mücken die uns leider zerstochen haben (es gab ein Hinweisschild im Zimmer). Die Betreiber haben auf Nachfrage aber auch nochmal etwas im Zimmer gesprüht so das die Mücken am nächsten Tag weniger da waren.
Das war sehr freundlich :) und es wurden uns Salben für die Stiche gegeben.

המלון פשוט וקסום

Cons:

יתושים- לא הצלחנו לישון כל הלילה. כל החדר מלא ביתושים למרות חלונות סגורים וחושך. לא ברור איך אין מזגן/מאוורר/כילה/נרות עשן.
זה הפך את השהייה למאד מאכזבת ויצאנו לדרך עייפים מאד.

Ja das Hotel ist Bettwanzenfrei. Wir hatten etwas bammel, dass es doch nicht so wäre, aber alles tip top.
Der Empfang war sehr Herzlich.
Die Zimmer sind für zwei Personen ausreichend gross.
Frühstück war klein aber fein und es wurde immer wieder was aufgefüllt
Liegt etwas ausserhalb der Stadt, aber mit dem Auto gut zu finden.

Aamiainen oli hyvä.

Cons:

Huoneemme sijaitsi talon yläkerrassa. Huoneeseen kuului meteliä alakerrasta sekä kerroksen muista huoneista. Huoneemme oli täynnä pieniä kärpäsiä, jotka purivat. Huoneessa ei voinut kärpästen takia tuulettaa ja huoneen ilmanlaatu oli surkea. Ilmanvaihtoa ei ollut ollenkaan. Majoitus oli ylihinnoiteltu siihen nähden, että meitä nakersi koko yön ötökät ja lähdimme sieltä puremien kanssa.
