Pros:

We didn't stay long, as we only spent one night there, but from what we saw, we can say that it is a lovely accommodation with a beautiful view. Parking is conveniently available right in front of the room, and there is also the option to have breakfast in a nicely arranged dining area. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would gladly recommend it.

Nothing it was rated 9 and it was not a 4 star hotel. There was no one that empty the trash and we had bugs in our rooms.

Falta de educación y profesionalidad
Cons:

La actitud maleducada de la señora que está en la recepción, no sé si es la dueña o una empleada. Nos alojamos en una de las cabañas y no conseguíamos abrir la puerta porque tenía un sistema complejo de seguridad. El caso es que fui a preguntarle y como yo insistía en qué no entendía bien qué hacer, se quedó murmurando de una forma muy desagradable mientras yo salía. Al no poder abrir de nuevo, le pedí que me acompañara y abriera, cosa que hizo de muy malas formas, saliendo a la carrera delante de mí y expresandose de una forma brusca y nada amable.

A pleasant stay near Höfn
Pros:

We liked the fact that we had our own house and even if it was near the main road there was no noise at all. Nice decoration and cozy feeling. Everything was clean.

Cons:

You had to walk for the main house and the reception. The owner didn’t contact us at all so at the end, I had to make a phone call to see if everything is settled for our stay. At the main building they had a kind of event on that day, so we could not enjoy our breakfast and had to leave early. Buffet was ok, the jams were exceptional.

Erg duur voor wat je krijgt
Pros:

Handig op doortocht uit het noorden, maar...

Cons:

Veren in de matrassen voel je gewoon zitten, echt slecht geslapen.
Ontbijt wel erg karig.
Gezien de prijs is dit ons slechtste hotel in IJsland.

Wunderschöner, ländlicher Zwischenstopp
Pros:

Der Empfang war sehr nett. Die Mitarbeiterin oder vielleicht sogar Chefin war überaus freundlich. Das Zimmer war groß, super ausgestattet (Steckdosen, Wasserkocher, Tisch, Couch, Handtücher) und sehr sauber. Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer war schön. Es war ruhig und abgelegen. Das Badezimmer war auch groß und wir hatten einen Parkplatz direkt vor der Türe. In der Früh genossen wir ein abwechslungsreiches, ansprechendes Frühstück im netten Ambiente. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder dort Stopp machen. Es liegt auf dem Weg zu sehr tollen Sehenswürdigkeiten und eignet sich als Zwischenstopp besser als ein Hotel in Höfn.

Cons:

Das wir nicht mehr Zeit hatten um noch eine Nacht dort zu verbringen.

Gezellig, parkeren voor je kamer.
Pros:

De gezellige kamer, parkeren voor je eigen deur.

Cons:

De hoek waar het ontbijt staat is vrij compact om met meerdere mensen tegelijk je ontbijt te nemen.
Het kon misschien sneller aangevuld worden, het beste brood werd op een zeker moment niet meer aangevuld en lang wachten op nieuwe thermos koffie. Maar toch tevreden over ons verblijf.
