It was a 45 minute walk into Ennis. And if it was raining the gym was great! The food was excellent too!

Great location on the town outskirts in a golf course sharing the large car park with golfers.
Pros:

Excellent buffet breakfast. We also had dinner in the restaurant once which was good and I ate once in the bar, which is in the form of a large traditional pub complete with sports screen, and enjoyed the fish and chips.
Location is alongside a golf course and very quiet. 20 euro taxi ride to centre.

Cons:

Being in my eighties I find climbing in and out of baths to shower is difficult.

Pros:

Nice hotel and wonderful restaurant.

Cons:

Only 2 staff helping for breakfast, and you need to wait for them to get seat, coffee, tea, and milk.

Pros:

Personnel accueillant et hôtel au calme.

Cons:

Chambre vieillotte et sale, moquette très poussiéreuse, joints de salle de bains et rideau de douche crasseux, lavabo bouché et tous les meubles vieux et branlants. L’hôtel a vraiment besoin d’une rénovation en profondeur.

Pros:

Breakfast, restaurant and bar were great. Staff was friendly. Facilities looked impressive (pool, hot tub, weight room).

Cons:

The bathroom drain was extremely slow, a lamp shade was broken and even after informing the staff, was not replaced. The towel heater did not work when the switch was turned on, the bathroom fan was quite loud and stayed on after the light switch was off, and a room card was not needed to have the lights work.

The hotel is tidy and well-maintained, with a delightful breakfast.

Cons:

The fact that we got there at around 11 am due to an early flight but we were not allowed to check into our hotel room till 2pm.

Pros:

For a large hotel the staff were very friendly. Lovely big room and large bed and even a chaise long! Loads of hot water and an excellent shower. So much choice at breakfast too. Try the seafood chowder in at Poets Corner in Ennis, it is delicious!
