The hosts were super kind and friendly, they showed us such warm hospitality and fed us some amazing food! Beautiful cottages in an amazing garden, the most aesthetic garden we have ever seen, with lush green beauty everywhere. Green Paradise was truly a one of a kind stay, we are so grateful to have found this place and had the pleasure of staying there and meeting these wonderful people!
Absolutely nothing
Very friendly owners and food was amazing. The room was new and clean and had airco. The garden was amazing and there is a river nearby to cool down and have fun.

Wir haben hier drei wunderschöne Tage verbracht. Die Gastfreundschaft von Lahiru, ihrem Mann und dem Schwiegervater war sehr herzlich und wir hatten viele wunderbare Gespräche. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns der liebevoll angelegte Garten des Schwiegervaters, der vor etwa sechs Jahren entstanden ist und ein echter Traumgarten ist. Wir haben vieles über die Pflanzen gelernt, welche mit Sorgfalt gehegt und gepflegt werden.
Wir durften nach der ersten Nacht in ihr neustes Bungalow einziehen und es hat uns auch in diesem neuen Bungalow an nichts gefehlt - Klimaanlage, Moskitonetze, Wasserkocher, Sauberkeit… einfach alles perfekt. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und die drei Abendessen ebenfalls extrem lecker und authentisch. Nur wenige Schritte entfernt hat es einen Fluss, in dem man herrlich baden kann - unsere Kinder (5 und 10 Jahre) wollten gar nicht mehr raus. Die Safari wurde ebenfalls perfekt durch sie organisiert. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder zurückkehren! Nochmals vielen herzlichen Dank für die schönen Tage bei euch! Julia und David mit Noah und Kira ♥️
The hosts were wonderful and made us feel like family. We appreciated their openness and willingness to break down the host/guest wall, so that we could have a more intimate look at what life is like in Udawalawa. The nature in garden is stunning, we felt relaxed as soon we got there. The dinner was sensational - so much delicious food. Nice to see normal life going on in the non-touristy villages around. Great experience in Sri Lanka if you want to leave the beaten track.

Everything was perfect: three nights, which gave me enough time to go on safari and visit the Sinharaja Forest. The room was spotless and comfortable. The family is lovely and cooks very well!
It is just beautiful. The room was clean. The staff were all amazing. The dinner they made night 1 was a feast and one of the best curries I have had so far in Sri Lanka. I felt very relaxed there and it felt luxurious and tropical
It was slightly out the way but that wasn’t an issue as I dined in and then went on safari. There is accommodation behind theirs that has music on quite late. This wasn’t an issue for me as i was up late but may be worth noting if you plan to get an earlier night.
The garden is beautiful, and the bungalows too! We ate here the most delicious rice and curry of all Sri Lanka, but most of all, we met an amazing family with whom we had really interesting conversations about Sri Lanka’s culture. It was definitely the best accommodation we’ve had in one month of traveling all over Sri Lanka. Just 1 minute away, there is a nice spot to swim in the river.

Väga soe pererahvas ja vastuvõtt, fantastiline õhtusöök ja hommikusöök. Mugav bungalo (konditsioneer, mugav dushiruum, puhas ja sääsevaba voodi (suured võrgud). Aed oli lihtsalt imeline! Nende poolt korraldatud safari oli väga mõistliku hinna ja väga hea kvaliteediga. Kõik oli lihtsalt uskumatult hea!
Kahju, et me peatusime seal vaid ühe öö. Tulevikus loodetavasti läheme veelkord ja siis juba mitmeks ööks.

Der große Bungalow ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Es gibt heißes Wasser und sowohl AC als auch einen Ventilator im Zimmer. Moskitonetz über jedem Bett. Die Gastgeber sind super freundlich und das Essen, vor allem das Abendessen ist extrem lecker.
Piękny ogród, pyszne jedzenie, wysoki standard, bardzo miłe przyjęcie. To był mój drugi pobyt na Sri Lance i zdecydowanie najlepszy nocleg spośród wszystkich dotychczasowych. Żałuję że byliśmy tam tylko jedną noc.
