Great Quiet Place
Pros:

Daniel cared for us really well! He even prepared an evening meal for us while the cook was away. The location was amazing with so many birds singing. Such a peaceful and relaxing environment!

Magic place

Amazing hidden gem to stay - definitely recommend a few days at least. Great stopover location too.
Pros:

It was a last minute booking on my way back from Sydney.
It was very affordable and quite close to shops and restaurants in Orbost.
The facility is very cosy, private and quiet.
The owner is very friendly and helpful.
So it is a unique setup. There was my room, a large one, with a very comfy bed, working TV with heaps of watching options, lots of storage room for clothing and my own private toilet and bathroom.

And then there are common areas including a sitting room, breakfast facilities (at possibly an additional cost depending on what you want to have - they do offer a pretty fancy breakfast!!) and a dining area.

But the most amazing feature is where it's located. It literally is in the bush, with many many birds and wildlife. I arrived late in the dark, but upon waking I didn't want to leave for Melbourne. I even watched amazing parrots on the verandah. Amazing!!

Cons:

Nothing bad at all.
Just didn't stay long enough.

Great hosts, Bell Birds chorus delightful, quiet quaint accommodation
Pros:

I ordered dinner from the menu and it was exceptional. Breakfast of cereal or toast was available and great. The chorus of the Bell Birds was delightful and location quiet and lovely.

Loved the birds!
Pros:

We booked here because of the birds, which were beautiful and the surprise was the Lyrebird

Cons:

On arrival, we were concerned about its appearance. Perhaps a better ‘first impression’ would help, as once inside, everything is spotless.

Pros:

The location is quite convenient for our road trip, and the staff were super friendly! The bed is very comfortable as well

Cons:

The smell in the bathroom was not nice and it expanded to the room as well :( overall didn’t seem clean

Tremendous spot
Pros:

Splendid location amongst the forest, very relaxing and beautiful. Easy drive to town, coast and local brewery. Friendly staff and my room was cool - heavy stone construction that stayed literally cool despite a 40 degree heatwave (some aircon used too). Highly recommend!
