The hotel is cozy and the reception staff were friendly, professional, and always happy to help.

One of the hotel’s greatest advantages is its fantastic location in the heart of Baščaršija. Everything is within walking distance, making it the perfect base for exploring Sarajevo’s historic old town, restaurants, cafés, and local attractions.

Since we booked only about 30 minutes before arriving, we were given a basement-level room. The window was positioned very high, making it impossible to open or enjoy any view, and the room was below street level. While this was understandable given our last-minute reservation, guests who prefer natural light should request a room on one of the upper floors.

The furniture and room décor were somewhat outdated and could benefit from refurbishment to better match the hotel’s excellent location.

A positive point for motorcycle travelers is that, with the reception’s approval, we were able to park our two motorcycles on the sidewalk directly in front of the hotel at no extra charge. However, it’s worth noting that the hotel is located on a very narrow street with space for only about three cars, so parking can be limited.

Overall, Hotel Sahat is a good choice thanks to its outstanding location and courteous staff. With updated furnishings and brighter rooms, it would offer an even better guest experience.

Estuvimos sin ascensor un día y medio, uno de los días no nos arreglaron la habitación, al llegar nos encontramos en el armario ropa sucia (tirada en el suelo ) de una persona que estaría allí antes, no tiene ni una pequeña cafetería, ni un saloncito donde poder estar un rato ( solo cuatro sillones en una esquina de la entrada). No me pareció un hotel de cuatro estrellas.

Lovely stay in the heart of Sarajevo
Pros:

Great staff. Great location. Excellent breakfast. Bathroom fine.

Cons:

Air con a bit hit and miss. Kettle in room but more choice of tea/coffee would be good. Sheet too small for the bed.

Terrible hotel! Outdated, with bad furniture, doors scratched, bad odors from bathroom, old A.C. which stopped working very often. We complained to the receptionist, he said he will restart the system, but after 10-15 minutes stopped working again. Definitely. Also, you don’t get any water or drinks in the room with or without money. There was only one cup in the room and only one bag of instant coffee. For a four stars hotel this is not acceptable. Also, the parking is a joke. You can find a parking to a hotel nearby. A little bit more expensive, but decent and without risking to scratch your car.

Mooie entree/receptie en heel vriendelijk personeel. De kamer en badkamer waren keurig en schoon. Locatie in het oude centrum was top. Je kunt een parkeerplek krijgen tegen betaling. Je parkeert dan op de smalle straat voor het hotel en het personeel verplaatst je auto als iemand voor jou eruit moet. Het ontbijt viel alleen erg tegen. Ongebakken broodjes, warme joghurt en melk, weinig keuze.
