I loved the homely feel of the space. I didn’t feel like just a number I felt seen and welcomed.

Excellent and personal service to show the room and how everything works. George helped us.
Very heart whelming and friendly and well trained staff.
Very good breakfast.

Cons:

The parking was a little bit of a worry as we did not know where to stop to check in until George helped us.

Pros:

Tivemos uma experiência excelente durante os dois dias que ficamos no hotel. O quarto era muito espaçoso, confortável e bem equipado, com shampoo, condicionador, sabonete e cremes de ótima qualidade. O café da manhã à la carte foi um dos pontos altos da estadia, especialmente os ovos benedict, que estavam deliciosos. Além disso, a localização é excelente e toda a equipe foi extremamente atenciosa e prestativa. Recomendo sem dúvidas e certamente voltaria a me hospedar aqui.

Return to the Sugar Hotel
Pros:

Three nights in Room 6, a large spacious room with a view out to the easy. Large bathroom with a tub and separate shower space. Super quiet. Great breakfast (especially the avocado smash.)

Cons:

Firm mattress, two flights of stairs, limited options in the immediate neighborhood for shopping, dining and supplies.

⁠Very intimate, peaceful stay. Though we weren’t within the property during the day.
Pros:

Easy access to amenities and Big sporting events like Cape Cycle Tour , Cape Marathon etc.

Cons:

The room was too close to the restaurant. It’s a bit noisy but manageable

Very comfortable

Pros:

Quiet space with large shower space, room 11 was an efficient space. Good wifi

Cons:

Bed mattress was extremely hard. Room 11 is a small compact space with a column near one corner. Not a lot of room to unpack nor is there much space to hold that taken out.
