Pros:

Love the room. The kitchen, dinner table, the long couch, and a separate room. Everything was clean and in good condition. The location was great, just walk to the beach and good restaurant around the area,

Cons:

The parking was a little restricted. Although I had a good parking spot every day.

Pros:

Location was good and that’s all it has going for it. If you just need a place to crash may be alright but definitely stayed in nicer places for the same rate.

Cons:

Bathroom smelt like urine. Old and worn down property. Bed was super uncomfortable, carpets were kind of gross.

Pros:

The location was great and the room wasn’t noisy although it’s next to a main road.

Cons:

The sheets were very uncomfortable, the carpets/floor seemed to be emitting a strange smell, and it overall was not very clean. For the price, I expected at least decent bedding/pillows. It was all very hard and scratchy.

We loved it. Perfect location and super laid back.
Pros:

The proximity to the beach and everything in Pacific Beach was incredible. We loved the full kitchen. It felt like an old school beach hotel.

Cons:

We had some plumbing issues but they were resolved immediately.

Great family hotel with kitchenette
Pros:

Location is exceptional-short walk to the beach, pier, shopping and restaurants. The pool was great. The teenagers loved the deep end of 8 feet and hubby loved the length for doing laps. There is an outdoor shower to remove sand after coming back from the beach. The staff was friendly and most helpful. We booked the queen one bedroom with kitchenette and found it very comfortable. The bed was comfortable for hubby and me, and our two teenagers slept comfortably on the couch/pullout bed. The huge Samsung HD TV was super nice.

Cons:

The only thing I didn’t like was the lack of kitchenware. I always bring my favorite skillet but was surprised that there was no cutlery. I purchased a nicer set of plastic silverware and a large serving spoon at Ralph’s and left it for the next guests.

Room was in bad location, told I would have a microwave room didn't have one, remote was missing, no hot water first night was to late to complain. This was my 3rd time staying there. Would not stay again. Too many things went wrong.

Bare bones, unwelcoming, and extremely dirty.

The location is good right next to the beach.

Cons:

The room was gross and clearly hadn’t been fully cleaned in forever. There was grime on the corners everywhere and damage to the walls. It smelled very strongly the entire stay of an air freshener or cleaner that gave us all headaches. The sheets were rough and the fabric was pilling. The hot tub chemicals were clearly messed up and it was the water was green. The staff was rude and turned off our keys to the room an hour before check out so we had to go ask to have them turned back on so we could get our luggage from the room. They acted like it was a pain to have to help us and made us wait for a while before even acknowledging we were there. The staff do not answer the phone when you call and do not call back when you leave a voicemail. For some reason the pool closes at 9pm and cards do not work to get in 20 minutes before 9pm. There is a $250 charge if you are in the pool area after 9pm which is just crazy. I have never stayed at a place where the pool closes so early. Even our community pool back home that has lifeguards closes at 11pm…
