Lovely stay, very comfortable
Pros:

Very upscale and luxurious property! Huge room size and lovely location!

Cons:

Food at the cafe can be improved, the vegetable Sandwhich that we ordered , was very basic with hardly any exotic veggies,
Looking at the cost of it, it didn’t seem worth it,
But on telling the chef about it, he was very sweet to offer another one and help in any other services,
Which is a good thing

The worst hotel experience I have ever had in my life.

Very disappointing experience. I will not choose this hotel again in the future

Cons:

I had a confirmed reservation at Conrad Pune from May 15 to May 19, but unfortunately I had to cancel it because of the extremely disappointing and unprofessional behavior of the reception staff, especially one female receptionist whose attitude was arrogant, dismissive, and showed complete disregard for both guest comfort and the reputation of this hotel.

My wife and I had just completed more than 20 hours of exhausting travel, including a long international flight followed by a lengthy road journey. I had politely requested the possibility of checking in just 3 hours earlier, but my request was completely ignored with no response at all.

When I later asked the receptionist why there had been no reply, instead of receiving a professional explanation, I was met with sarcasm, superiority, and a very disrespectful tone. There was no attempt to listen, understand the circumstances, or resolve the situation professionally.

To be fair, the hotel itself is elegant, clean, and visually deserves a 5-star rating. The property is well maintained and looks impressive. However, a true 5-star hotel is defined not only by its appearance, but by the professionalism, courtesy, and training of its staff. Unfortunately, Conrad Pune clearly needs to invest much more in training its front desk team on how to communicate respectfully with guests and handle misunderstandings professionally.

Because of this unacceptable experience, I canceled my booking immediately and reserved another hotel the same day. Despite the receptionist’s unwillingness to properly cooperate with the cancellation, I had no choice and ended up losing the cost of the first night.

Also, the hotel entrance is located on an unpleasant and inconvenient road.

One of the best hotels in India
Pros:

I love everything about this hotel. The staff are so incredible in every department and so helpful and kind, the room is huge and way exceeded my expectation, the food is delicious, and the pool and spa offer a very relaxing escape from any daily stress. I’ll be back.
