Beautiful historic room with Appenzeller charm.
Pros:

A wonderful stay in the central area of Appenzell. The Hotel Lowen was a flat 5 minute walk from the train station and easy to find. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were spacious, delightfully decorated (stayed in the historic section) and very comfortable. Beds were great and bathroom a good size with nice sized linens. Wifi was very good and there were ample number of sockets for charging my electronics, one was right by the bed. Lighting was excellent. The breakfast area was spacious as well with an excellent offering of food. Multiple dining and shopping opportunities were right outside our door and quiet walks were just four minutes away. Would stay here again if visiting Appenzell.

Nothing. All was wonderful!

Pros:

Das Frühstücksbuffet war ausgezeichnet.

Cons:

Leider war es in beiden Nächten vorgekommen, dass mehrere angetrunkene Gäste nach Mitternacht mit viel Lärm das Hotel betreten haben. Ich habe deshalb beide Nächte nicht gut geschlafen.
Ein Zimmer war unter dem Dach und viel zu warm, konnte jedoch gewechselt werden.

Muy bien situado, habitacion comoda, limpia.

Cons:

Nos tocó una habitacion abuhardillada y habia que subir algunas escaleras con las maletas a cuestas, no muchas unos 12 escalones.
La habitacion estaba un poco fria.
