Easy stay near to the bus port for overnight sleeper buses.
Pros:

Friendliest staff. We used Google translate to communicate in Vietnamese and they were very engaging. They even drove us to a nearby ATM so we could draw cash, and they also helped us to find nearby food.

Pros:

Saubere Zimmer. Betreiberin hat extra nachts auf uns gewartet bis der Bus um 3.30 Uhr angekommen ist. Wurden am nächsten Tag noch zum Hafen gefahren.

Pros:

Super lieve eigenaresse. Kwamen laat aan snachts met de nachtbus en ze bleef wakker zodat we konden inchecken. Ook reed haar man ons overal heen waar we heen wilden

Cons:

Het ligt dicht bij het busstation, maar wel wat verder van Ha Long; houd dat in gedachten.

Handige locatie en vriendelijke gastvrouw
Pros:

Loopafstand vanaf busstation. De gastvrouw ging tot het uiterste voor ons en was erg vriendelijk. Ze wachtte zelfs op ons in de lobby totdat wij arriveerden om 4:00AM.

The host was absolutely lovely! She waited up for me to arrive from the night bus and her husband drove me to the ferry port in the morning. Amazing service!!

Hotel ottimo
Pros:

Struttura moderna, pulita ed elegante. I letti sono enormi e la camera spaziosa. Il bagno grande e con doccia. Ha phon, aria condizionata e tutti i vari comfort.

Cons:

La signora alla reception non sapeva darci molte informazioni su come raggiungere l’isola di cat ba e (come tutti) non parlava inglese.
La posizione la riporta esattamente accanto alla stazione dei bus, ma dista circa 10 minuti a piedi.. che per chi arriva di notte non é il massimo.

Perfect, near the bus station, lovely owners
Pros:

Got a night bus and they woke up at 4am to let me check in. It’s run by this cute vietnamese couple who don’t speak at of English but with google translate we got by well. They sent me to bed quickly so they could also sleep well & then the husband dropped me to my next stay in Ha Long when I checked out at midday. The perfect stopping point for a late night from the bus station, in walking distance, and felt so nice to put a little extra money in their pockets.

Great stop off
Pros:

The location was great for getting off the night bus. We arrived from Ha Giang around 5am, the hotel was a 5 minute walk and the couple that run the hotel were so kind and helpful and checked us right in. They also offer a taxi service and arranged for us to get coffees in the morning. All perfect, just what we needed!

Pros:

God placering i forhold til at vi ankom til den nærliggende busstation. Vi gik små 10 min, hvilket passede fint. Ejeren og hendes mand var så søde og hjælpsomme. Lækkert værelse og dejlige puder.
