Overall an enjoyable stay and good value.
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked with a good variety of choices. Karina who managed the breakfasts was very sociable and helpful. Evening meals were of good quality

Cons:

Windows needing painted. Duvet a bit thick for summer!

Wouldn't stay again
Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great bike storage in a locked cage at the rear of the hotel.

Cons:

Very poky, basic room. Extremely dark bathroom with rusty towel holders. It was a wet room and when we used the shower, the water soaked everything - sink, toilet and the whole floor. It was horrible.

The staff were extremely helpful and nice. Food was excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location with secure parking for our bikes.

Happy. it met my needs very well.

Very enjoyable stay in lovely Kelso
Pros:

Nice hotel. Good location. Very friendly helpful staff.Comfortable clean room. Food in the evening was very good as was breakfast in the morning

Cons:

Not the hotels fault as we stayed on a very hot night but the room was very hot. There was a fan in the room but it didn't make much difference

Overnight
Pros:

We cycled through with e-bikes and they had a secure area with charging for our bikes. The staff was very friendly, and the food(dinner and breakfast) was excellent.

Cons:

No issues, everything was great.

Pros:

It was in a great location, the receptionist couldn't do enough for us.
The room was clean,quiet and comfortable.

Cons:

The hairdryer was broken, luckily we take our own. The full breakfast was very greasy which put us off a bit.
I'm not sure if the girl serving us for breakfast was new or not but it seemed to be a bit of a farce, we and others coming into the dining room ended up going to her to ask for tea etc instead of the other way round.
