Would definitely stay there again!
Pros:

The hotel is really well situated in the Palestinian part of Jerusalem, only 100 meters from the Herod Gate into the Old City.
The very gracious manager Hussain Rayan went out of his way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Can't thank him enough for that!
The breakfast is plentiful with both Western and Arabic favorites.
The area around the hotel is bustling with shops, kiosks and restaurants. As we went there in a time of unrest, this location was very fortunate for us, since a lot of those were closed in the western (Jewish) part of town when we went exploring there. We would have starved had we stayed there!

כמעט כלום החדר היה בסיסי ביותר. מגבת לכל היום. פשוט קמצנות לשמה בכל הנוגע להגיינה.

Cons:

כמעט כלום. האוכל על הפנים אין קפה. תה ונס קפה. חלב עמיד. פטל במקום מיץ אמיתי. אוכל גרוע לחם בסיסי ולא טרי פיתות עבשות. ויבשות קמצנות לשמה. המחיר גבוה מאד ביחס לתמורה עוד שלוש מאוד שקל ויש מלון נורמאלי כמו מלון אייל המצויין.

I really enjoyed my stay at Ravioli Hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the location was very convenient. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely come back

Pros:

Locatie is goed

Cons:

Betaald voor inclusief ontbijt maar geen ontbijt gekregen. We waren met de kids van leeftijd 6 en 11 jaar. Om 20:30u moest het al muisstil zijn want we kregen het al te horen dat ze wat luidruchtig waren.

Omenie in timp de razboi
Pros:

Multumim foarte mult gazdelor care ne-au acordat suport si incurajare.
Noi am locuit aici chiar in prima zi cand a inceput razboiul si am apreciat bunavointa staffului hotelului.
Ii anuntam pe aceasta cale ca am ajuns cu bine acasa, chiar a doua zi dupa ce am parasit hotelul. Am trecut frontiera la Taba si apoi cu ajutorul consulatului nostru de la Cairo, am zburat catre casa.
Speram ca sunteti bine, sanatosi si ca veti trece cu bine peste dificultatile si pericolele razboiului.

Cons:

Razboiul. Dar evitarea lui nu a depins deloc de gazdelor noastre.

Cheap and cheerful stay
Pros:

Location was very good, on the corner right in front of the Herod gate. Rooms were clean and good size. The suhur was very nice. Simple yet delicious. Staff were very accommodating.

Cons:

Rooms were a little cold in February and the hot water wasn't constant. Bathrooms are quite outdated, the only setback with leaky sinks, doors not closing etc If they are renovated it would be perfect.
