The hotel is conveniently located just a 2-minute walk rhenfrom Sukhbaatar (central square in Ulaan Bataar where Parliament is located). We had a very large type of appartment (I think it is called business suite), it accomodated 4 people in 2 bedrooms easily, there is also a spacious living room with a large table, 4 chairs, a sofa and 2 armchairs, a TV set (plus 2 smaller TV sets, one in each bedrooms). The suite has 3 bathrooms/toilets, one is just a toilet, another a toilet and a shower and the third one has a shower cabin and a bathtub. The trouble was that all three bathrooms smelled badly even though they were cleaned perfectly by the staff - I suppose this is due to faulty sewage (no syphons) and as so nothing will every improve it unless sewage is reconstructed properly. Breakfast was OK, ground machine coffee as much as you wish. Communicative English spoken. Staff really very, very friendly.
Bad smell in all three bathrooms/toilets - obviously incorrect sewage (now there is nothing that could be done about it, toilets are perfectly clean but cleaning alone will never solve the problem).
The room was more spacious than I imagined. It even had a mini kitchenette with a sink. The bed was comfortable and the toilet even had a bathtub and bidet which was really really nice. The location was quite central to the square and walkable to a lot of malls. Breakfast was buffet style and they had quite a spread to choose from. I would patronise hotel nine again if I get the chance to visit Mongolia again!
It’s not that big of a deal but the dining area in the hotel is not that big so the tables can get full very quickly during breakfast. Also, the pillows provided are a little too soft. But that’s personal preference.

Beds are really hard
It’s in the heart of the city. Room was spacious and clean, breakfast was awesome. Staff were helpful and kind.
They don’t exchange money. When I arrived in the city, it was public holiday and every where closed. I needed some local money but staff told me that they cannot exchange money. I was surprised because usually hotels do this.
A really nice place in the very centre of Ulaanbaatar - there is everything you need, friendly staff, delicious breakfasts and clean rooms. We checked in before the check-in time and they stored our luggage after check-out. We DO recommend this place.
