Absolutely everything! We love the hotel, location, birds, trails, gardens, pool, staff and the town.

El hotel se ubica a cuatro cuadras de la plaza principal, donde esta la iglesia y en donde venden desayunos, comidas y cenas y están los taxis. La habitación es amplia, tiene ventilador, un refrigerador y aire acondicionado, su baño es un poco complicado, pero funcional. El hotel tiene estacionamiento privado encerrado y mucho espacio en la calle, tiene muy bonitos acabados y es ideal para el descanso, la alberca muy bien conservada y en excelente estado, el lugar bien iluminado, hay un garrafón de agua en el pasillo de las habitaciones. Si tienes problemas de movilidad, solicita planta baja.

This place is fabulous in every way!!! Beautiful decor in the rooms and the whole property is magnificent! Gorgeous plants of all kinds and huge cactus and elephant foot palms!! Maybe the best part was the wildlife. Lots of chickens and some roosters and peacocks!!!! Plus a couple cute outdoor cats.

This is a little oasis in a friendly Mexican town.

There are 3 or 4 accommodation 'houses' overlooking the immaculately maintained gardens, home to numerous peacocks and chickens (the cockrels do what cockrels do and can be a bit noisy).

The swimming pool is not heated at this time of the season but still warm enough for us to take a dip and freshen up after a day of dust and heat on the motorcycles.

Parking is within a gated courtyard. The gates are open during the day but locked at night. Room enough for cars and motorcycles.

The staff are brilliant. They welcome you from the moment you enter the ornate gates and ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. English is spoken well enough to hold a conversation.

Our room was clean and spacious, with a balcony looking out on to the lawns and wildlife. The bed was enormous and very comfortable. The bathroom/shower was well equipped with toiletries and towels (ask reception for pool towels). Plenty of hot water available.

Make sure to stay at least 2 or 3 days so you can walk in to the town squares and meet the friendly people.

Really clean and spacious room. Plenty of hot water in the shower. Place to hang clothes. Lovely balcony with seats and a table over-looking the gorgeous, immaculately kept gardens.

Great swimming pool. Not heated at this time of year but, as we’re British and find the Mexican winter incredibly hot, we went in for a dip. Lovely and refreshing. The manager turned on the heating for the small pool for us which was fantastic of him.

Chickens, cockerels, peacocks and peahens wander about freely.

It really is an oasis in the town. The whole place is immaculately kept and exceedingly clean.

Secure gated parking, which for us on motorbikes, is extremely important.

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Everything about this place was amazing! The staff were wonderful helping us get dinner arranged. The room was nice and clean and new. Finishes were very nice and felt like home. Cold ac, hot water and filtered water available in the lobby. The gardens were beautiful with chickens and peacocks/hens on the grounds. They also offer espresso for a small fee which we enjoyed with the staff in the morning.
