-excellent ac and wifi in room. and the ac was in the corner not over the bed for any germans reading
-perfect location halfway between port and the sunset side. 20m walk to both, quiet at night and away from the chaos
-i walked around the whole island and this is the only hotel that is truly beach front - if you want to see the ocean from your bed this is the only option on the whole island. there is a road separating the hotel from the beach, but it is sandy not paved so it blocks most of the over-cologned lazy jerks on electric scooters. every other hotel is set far back away from the beach or too close to the busy road
-you can swim with turtles directly from the beach in front of the hotel or the restaurant. the reef is further out but accessible. swim to where the water turns darker blue. the current is sometimes too strong to swim so be aware/careful and DON'T TOUCH CORALS especially don't stand on them

-pool is awesome to have. great to sit on the loungers-there are sun and shade options and all face the beach/ocean
if i had to choose something i would want more traditional indonesian/balinese decor...this hotel had every amenity but it lacked ~vibe and aesthetic~ I felt like the hotel could be anywhere in the world and i did not feel like i was in indonesia. more wood carvings/traditional textiles throughout and statues outside would make it perfect in my opinion
be warned that gili t has more tourists than locals, every place caters to western people, the island was a haven for tourists who don't care about indonesia at all. if you want a more genuine experience, go to any other island. although it will be hard to have a "genuine" experience with wifi, ac, and pool, so here we are

Loved everything about this place. We ate here breakfast, lunch and dinner every day for our 5 day stay. Huge variety of food. Delicious. Staff amazing. Pool beautiful and swam every day with turtles a few meters away

Uitzicht vanuit hotelkamer was vreselijk,(je moet echt zeezicht boeken) bleken locals te wonen maar hun huis had een lek dak wat met zeil was bedekt, op een meter van je raam. Kan het hotel hier niet wat in doen?
Die Zimmer waren sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Wir haben Fahrräder und Mofas im Hotel mieten können. Bei der Suche nach einem Arzt waren die Damen der Rezeption behilflich.
Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war nicht ganz so vielfältig, wie gewünscht.

Great and modern place. First, we got a standard room that faced the back part which wasn't so pleasent so we decided to upgrade to a beach view room on the ground floor. This was very nice!
The breakfast was a little too simple and not so tempting. Though they made omelettes, scrambled eggs etc. for each guest.

Breakfast was a little limited
Firstly the venue from the outside looks fantastic, looks simular to the famous Raffles Hotel Singapore.
However itys far from that. Its as though they got a decent hotel and ruined the original architecture. They covered many of the original internal featues with cheap brown 1970s looking vener, it would have been so much better if they had left it alone!
The facillities were avarage, the pool was okay, although was sea water rather than clean water.
The onsite food was crap, the breakfast was etremely poorly prepared and certianly lacked basic food & hygiene.
Little choice with flies on most of the food, unprotected/covered and the coffee was foul! May as well have drank the sea water.
Also the WiFi never worked which was extremely frustrating
The hotel offeres to hire bikes for you, however these bikes are unsafe, worn tires, brakes that hardly work and rusted old frames, Dont bother with the hotel, you can get better deals nearby and choose your own bikes.
If you are looking for quiet place in busy Trawangan this is definitely the best option ! Is still on north-east of the island so also not far away from the centre.
Beautiful restaurant, super clean and nice (and price affordable) SPA.

The staff
The internet connection (unstable). There were not a lot of food options, same thing with the breakfast.
The breakfast was okay. There could be more variety. However, the setting of the breakfast area is absolutely stunning. overlooking the water. The location is a distance from the port but the setting of the hotel is very pretty, right on the water. The staff is also amazing, always smiling and helpful.
Apart from the breakfast, which could be improved everything else was superb.
Beach front. Walk out door and snorkel in the ocean with sea turtles.
No complaints!
