Bon emplacement mais organisation à revoir
Pros:

L'emplacement à deux pas de Butrint est l'atout principal de cet hôtel. Les chambres sont par ailleurs très propres.

Cons:

L'organisation! Le but est de pouvoir visiter le site archéologique de Butrint avant les grosses chaleurs et les foules, dès l'ouverture à 8h30. En pratique ce n'est pas possible car le petit-déjeuner n'est pas servi avant 8h et on ne peut raisonnablement espérer quitter l'hôtel avant 9h. Cette demi-heure a valu plus tard dans la journée un gros coup de chaleur à 2 membres de notre famille (malgré les précautions d'usage). Le seul intérêt de l'hôtel c'est son emplacement à deux pas du site; nous avons trouvé très décevant qu'ils ne fassent pas plus d'effort pour caler leurs horaires de service sur celui du site.
Le personnel n'était pas désagréable pour autant, juste assez peu concerné.

Prima locatie voor 1 nacht en om Butrint te bezoeken
Pros:

De locatie was perfect om Butrint te bezoeken.
Ook de kamers waren netjes en ruim. De badkamer was wat klein en verouderd.

Cons:

Het gebouw zou eens onderhanden moeten genomen worden.
Het ontbijt is niet van hetzelfde niveau van wat je elders, buiten de toeristische zones, krijgt. Maar het kan er door.
Ook is het er enorm druk tijdens de dag. De vele bussen vol toeristen en andere wagens die Butrint bezoeken hebben er ook een lunch gepland. De kwaliteit van het eten voor de lunch is ook niet top.
Ga je richting Ksamil, is het er tijdens de dag gigantisch druk, prijzig en onmogelijk om gratis een parkingsplaats te vinden.
Als je dan al een parkingsplaats vind, vragen ze je om te betalen voor een parasol op het strand. Doe je dat niet moet je de parkingsplaats opnieuw verlaten. Hun manier van business doen blijkbaar.

Great location for the Butrint archaeological park.

The room was fresh and clean.

The food we had there was good. The staff seemed to be all family and all courteous and friendly.

Cons:

Read some comments about the rooms being noisy as the walls are paper thin. Not true, the walls are all brick! Suggest the noise was the fridge which I did turn off at night.

Disappointed Only good for Butrint Park Access
Pros:

The room was quite large with a separate seating area and big though very unsafe balcony
The air conditioning was quite good for Albania.
It was a short distance walk from Butrint Archaeological Park allowing access early in morning or early evening which avoided crowds and heat.
Breakfast was freshly made.

Cons:

The hotel looked very different from these photos. The trees had grown so much there was no view of the lagoon from any of the rooms or the ground floor. This did bring a lot of shade but it wasn’t what we were expecting. The outside area was littered with children’s toys, pushchairs etc… this continued inside and the lobby area was chaotic with more discarded toys, stacked bottles etc… dogs. Upstairs on the next communal area there was a washing machine and drier
The balcony mentioned above had no railings at all. You wouldn’t be safe with children at all.
The bed was very peculiar very low sunken in a leatherette frame, I think older people would struggle, we did a bit. The bathroom was very dated and floor was soaked after showering.
There was no tea making facilities , glasses or water provided.
It felt like we were staying in someone’s house with young kids who had forgotten they had rented out one of their rooms.

Pros:

Da wir vor allem nach Butrint wollten, war die Lage fantastisch. Es sind nur wenige Schritte bis zum Eingang des archäologischen Parks und wir hatten auch somit einen Parkplatz im Schatten.
Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und das Personal aufmerksam.
Insgesamt ist das Hotel ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen, aber die ruhige Lage macht das wett.

Pros:

Das albanischen Frühstück entspricht nicht so ganz unseren deutschen Gewohnheiten. Mir hat z.B. das Müsli gefehlt. Aber wer es deftig liebt, kommt auf seine Kosten.

Cons:

Wenn man sich für Butrint und die Archäologie interessiert und später zur Ruhe kommen möchte ist hier richtig..
