A super relaxing stay
Pros:

Loved the location. A short walk to the waterfall with a lovely outlook. The staff were super friendship and very helpful. To mention names Adrian and Janet. We had a brilliant evening meal and breakfast- 10 stars for the chef- sorry i didn’t ask for his/ her name.
The bed was super comfy, room spacious and overall a relaxing experience. Thank you!

Pros:

Charming Old Manor House, with great Bar and leather lounges. We stayed in a spacious workers cottage a short walk from the Manor House, with a beautiful stream and waterfall outside our windows. A relaxing 3 night stay.

Sehr ruhig gelegen in einer wunderschönen Gartenanlage nahe bei den Wasserfällen. Sehr gute Küche. Freundliches Personal

Cons:

Automatisch werden 10 % Servicegebühr auf die Preise geschlagen. Man wird nicht davon in Kenntnis gesetzt außer man fragt nach und will ein Detail der Endrechnung. Dann hat man die Möglichkeit das zu ändern.

Serene location.
Pros:

The location is superb. It was extremely peaceful. The garden is stunning. We enjoyed having a groundfloor room with big sliding doors leading onto a wild grassy patch in front. Also had a lovely walk along the river.

Cons:

Rather abrupt reception but perhaps the staff were busy with the dinner guests.

What a wonderful place to stay and fancy! Great food.
Pros:

Great property. Very Large rooms etc and fascinating building. On site restaurant and the food was lovely and the restaurant setting is also lovely.
Fancy breakfast as well. Just a lot to eat!

Cons:

I didn’t realise the restaurant was a fixed price and expensive menu but I guess since it is a somewhat remote location I understand why they might choose to do it that way, to guarantee a certain level of income. Al a carte would have been better but it’s on me I didn’t check it out more thoroughly. I just assumed it was a normal restaurant rather than a fancy 3 courses. Was a shock the meal cost 50% more than the accommodation for our party of 5 but as I said, that’s on me. With 3 kids late teens early 20s I’d probably have gone somewhere in town for dinner but for a special meal just for my wife and I it would be perfect.

Very relaxing over night stay with a friendly atmosphere.
Pros:

The setting was lovely with the adjacent waterfall. The ambience was very relaxing and the staff attentive.
