Ruhiges Hotel nahe Zentrum mit sehr freundlichem Personal.
Pros:

Frisch renoviertes Hotel an ruhiger Lage, etwa 5-10 Gehminuten zum Zentrum. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Reichhaltiges Frühstück. Eigene Parkplätze. Werden wiederkommen.

Pros:

- Sehr sehr nettes Personal
- Willkommensdrink wurde angeboten
- es gibt kein Lift aber wir wurden gefragt, ob wir Hilfe brauchen mit dem Gepäck
- wir haben sogar ein Upgrade in ein grösseres Zimmer erhalten
- schöne, grosse, saubere Zimmer
- Lage optimal an einer Seitenstrasse, darum nicht viel Lärm und trotzdem ist man zu Fuss sehr schnell an der Promenade

Cons:

Die Klimaanlage ging nicht. War etwas blöd für uns bei 37 Grad am Tag und 26 Grad in der Nacht. Da wäre es uns lieber gewesen kein Upgrade dafür eine funktionierende Klimaanlage.
Als wir es am Morgen gemeldet haben hat sich die Dame am Empfang aber sehr fest entschuldigt.

-Der Kühlschrank ging auch nicht (hat uns aber nicht weiter betroffen weil wir ihn nicht zwingend gebraucht haben)

Trotz kleiner Kritikpunkte habe ich den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würde das Hotel wieder buchen.
Pros:

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr zentrumsnah. Das Zentrum sowie der Lido sind in etwa 10 Minuten zu Fuss erreichbar. Mit dem Auto ist das Hotel ebenfalls sehr gut erreichbar.

Parkplätze sind vorhanden, können jedoch nicht reserviert werden. Bei meinem Aufenthalt war dies kein Problem. Die Kosten von 15 CHF pro Tag empfinde ich als fair.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Besonders positiv aufgefallen ist mir, dass man sich grosse Mühe gibt, Deutsch zu sprechen. Zudem wird man bei der Ankunft mit einem Willkommensdrink begrüsst. Auch die Kommunikation vor dem Aufenthalt war stets freundlich und unkompliziert.

Für Fahrer von Elektroautos ist wichtig zu wissen, dass das Hotel über keine eigene Ladestation verfügt. Gegen eine Pauschale von 30 CHF kann das Fahrzeug zwar geladen werden, dies erfolgt jedoch lediglich über eine normale Haushaltssteckdose. In der Umgebung stehen mehrere öffentliche Ladestationen mit 11 bis 22 kW zur Verfügung. Die nächste Schnellladestation befindet sich in Richtung Valle Maggia bei Eni.

Trotz der zentralen Lage ist es nachts angenehm ruhig. Je nach Zimmer und Gästen können vereinzelt Geräusche vom Gang oder aus Nachbarzimmern hörbar sein.

Das Frühstück bietet eine grosse Auswahl und lässt kaum Wünsche offen. Lediglich die Kaffeemaschine ist eine kleine Herausforderung 😊.

Insgesamt ein sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt, den ich gerne weiterempfehle.

Cons:

Preislich empfand ich das Hotel eher in der oberen Preisklasse.

In meinem Zimmer gab es beim Zugang zum Badezimmer eine erhöhte Schwelle. Diese kann insbesondere nachts oder bei Unachtsamkeit zu einer Stolperfalle werden.

Zudem war der Griff am Wasserhahn lose. Ich habe dies gemeldet und mir wurde mitgeteilt, dass der Mangel zeitnah behoben wird.

Die Dusche ist zwar angenehm gross, verfügt jedoch über keine Haltegriffe. Da der Boden recht rutschig werden kann, sehe ich hier insbesondere für ältere Menschen oder Personen mit Gleichgewichtsstörungen ein gewisses Sturzrisiko.

Persönlich war mir das Bett etwas zu weich. Bewegungen der zweiten Person waren deutlich spürbar. Auch die Kopfkissen entsprachen nicht meinem Geschmack, da sie für meinen Komfort etwas zu weich waren.

Für den aufgerufenen Preis hätte ich mir bei diesen Punkten etwas mehr Komfort und Aufmerksamkeit bei der Ausstattung gewünscht.
