The hotel is located on the corner of Marine Parade and Broad Street and the hotel entrance is located in Broad Street (BN2 1TJ), close to the junction with Marine Parade.
The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorize cards up to the value of the first night's stay.
The hotel is doing some refurbishment of the hotel bulding so they have some scaffoldings on the bulding form 24/10/2023 to 24/03/2024, rooms are not effected by this. Customer will see the scaffoldings through the window.
A deposit may be required at the property.

It works perfectly, but ceiling above looks like it is going to fall down and the shower floor, the floor felt like it was going to collapse
Filthy hotel. Locks didn’t work on doors. Broken windows. Broken blinds. Feels like a homeless hostel not a hotel.

Room was large & comfortable and there was a lift to the basement
The decor was tired.
The bed was a little bit soft but ok
Everything was clean but the carpet had seen better days and the grouting around the glass tiles was a bit dodgy but for the price & location on the seafront we thought this was all reasonable.

We stayed in a Penthouse Suite at the Amsterdam Hotel in Brighton, but the condition of the room was absolutely unacceptable.
The room was visibly dusty, with dust on the old leather sofa and tables. The carpet was old, dirty, and smelled strongly of dust. The sink was clogged, the plug was covered in hair, and there was visible mould on the glass shower door.
The wall clock was not working because there were no batteries in it, and the fridge was not cooling properly. The room felt as though it had only been superficially cleaned rather than properly maintained. I have photos to support these issues.
I expected basic cleanliness, proper maintenance, and a comfortable night's sleep. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below acceptable hotel standards. I would not stay here again.
