The front staff were exceptional. Very friendly and offered great insights. The room was very cozy and clean. The hotel is close to port and close to a seabus that will take you right to town.

Second time staying at this great hotel. Was picked up at the port by the transfer minibus. Check-in was smooth,and shared transfer to the airport was arranged. A member of staff then took my suitcase and escorted me to my room, he showed me how to operate the electric blinds and etc. Had evening meal at the hote which was lovely. Buffet breakfast was included for the next morning. Only had to wait around for an hour before it was time to transfer to the airport.
Everything was excellent.
Hotel arranged transfers from port and airport at no extra charge, having also stayed at another hotel on the island I came to realise this saved us €50 so hugely appreciated and the reason we’ll book Maki’s place again on our overnight layover to Andros. Nice pool & good food.

Shuttle Service vom Flughafen zum Hotel (wegen später Ankunftszeit nicht gratis, sondern um 25 € für 2 Personen) und vom Hotel zur Fähre (gratis). Wir sind nur für 1 Nacht geblieben, weil wir spät angekommen sind und am nächsten Tag die Fähre nach Paros genommen haben. Hat alles sehr gut funktioniert. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wartezeit bis zur Abfahrt des Shuttles zur Fähre konnte am bzw. im Hotelpool verbracht werden, Badetücher inklusive.

The hotel was absolutely perfect. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and we had a great sleep. It’s a few seconds from the main port super easy to get into town from there.

Experiencia increíble en Makis Place
Pasamos dos días maravillosos y no podemos recomendar este lugar lo suficiente. Todo estuvo fantástico desde el primer momento: la atención es increíble, el staff súper atento en todo momento.
La pileta es genial y te dan toallas sin ningún problema. Hicimos el checkout pero igualmente nos permitieron quedarnos, guardar las maletas y seguir usando la pileta — ese detalle marca la diferencia.
La comida también muy rica, recomendamos comer ahí sin dudas.
La ubicación es ideal: está al lado del puerto, lo que facilita muchísimo si venís o salís en ferry. Además te organizan transfer hasta el puerto, así que la logística es perfecta.
Volvería sin pensarlo dos veces. 🙌
