Pros:

Nous avons dîner dans cet hôtel le soir de notre séjour.
Très bon repas avec un tarif correct. De plus nous avons eu un problème de propreté avec la chambre et le restaurant nous a offert l'apéritif.
La chambre était grande et la literie confortable.

Cons:

Le petit déjeuner est un peu léger. Un plat chaud est proposé, des céréales, des jus de fruits. Il n'y avait pas de fruits, yaourt, pain.
Le ménage dans notre chambre n'avait pas été fait. La poubelle n'était pas vidée, nous avons trouvé un bouchon d'oreille sous un lit, ainsi qu'un tube de ketchup, la poussière était également non faite.
Nous avons tué deux araignées lors de notre arrivée dans la chambre.
Le tarif payé pour la nuit 221 euros pour une chambre double est excessif par rapport à la prestation de cet établissement

Good base for exploring Cheddar area.
Pros:

We had to find new accommodation at short notice when our Air B & B fell through. We'd orginally planned to stay in Cheddar. This hotel is a few miles away but turned out to be a good location though nothing is really in walking distance. We didn't have breakfast but had dinner on the first night which wasn't too bad. The room was a good size. The shower room was decent. The room was quiet with an openable window as well as aircon. The staff were quite friendly.

Cons:

The room lacked much 'personality or style' it was very grey. There wasn't much storage - no wardrobe. My side of the bed was somehow creaky even though the matress seemed reasonably firm.

The Sidcot Arms is a great centrally located pub with comfortable rooms and friendly staff, from which to enjoy the loca
Pros:

A nice country pub in a good location to access the local points of interest. The staff are friendly and helpful. There are some local walks right from the front door.

Cons:

Being on a main road, the traffic noise was a bit loud, unless you shut the window.

Thank you to the staff, but it’s not somewhere we would stay or recommend.
Pros:

The staff were excellent from check in to departing.

Cons:

For the room, facilities and cleanliness I felt the product was overpriced.

We would return again, all round lovely experience and felt relaxed.
Pros:

The staff were friendly and professional
Our dog was welcomed warmly and dog bowls, treats and poo bags supplied in the room
Tasty breakfast
Comfortable and clean room

Cons:

The room was quite far away from the entrance/exit and taking out dog for last toilet walk was quite far. Not a major issue though, just a thought for elderly or disabled guests needing to exercise and toilet their dogs

It was OK. I wouldn't go back.
Pros:

Good location and lovely views from the terrace

Cons:

Disappointed by the food, which was pretty "average" .
I note they are hiring chefs so maybe they have a staffing problem.
At breakfast, my husband didn't want the full English but our waitress said he wasn't allowed to just have bacon, beans and mushrooms because that wasn't an "option on the breakfast menu" even though we pointed out that it was just the full English but without the sausage, egg, hash brown and black pudding... but we gave up trying to persuade her and just had toast! And maybe more choice than just little pots of apricot jam to go with the toast would have been nice.

Fantastic value hotel in the Mendips
Pros:

Nice large room, clean, very comfortable bed (was a Premier Inn up to fairly recently so they have retained the excellent mattresses). Aircon in room too.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd say it represents excellent value (particularly as we had breakfast included)

Cons:

Some maintenance to flaking paint required in room but this is a very minor criticism. Overall package Great value

Pros:

Pretty from the outside

Cons:

It was expensive for what you got. 2 nights in the countryside and they couldn’t replace coffee/tea without asking for it. Breakfast average at best. Tunes haven’t been updated since the 80’s. Room very hot and then very cold. Soft bed, poor sleep
