Neat apartment in city centre
Pros:

Great location in the centre of town

Cons:

The skylight was very difficult to close the blackout window with a long pole & there was no fridge to keep our milk call in our 4 day stay

Jugendherberge-Feeling zu einem massiv überteuerten Preis, ohne Ansprechperson und ohne Service!

1) Die Zimmer gehen auf eine Hauptverkehrsstraße und sind sehr laut
2) Die Einrichtung sieht am Foto nett aus, ist aber ´runter gekommen und teilweise sogar kaputt (inkl. Fenster, denen Teile fehlen
3) für den Preis erwartet man wenigstens einen Ventilator, wenn schon keine Klimaanlage. Das vorhandene Gerät war eher ein Spielzeug.
4) ich habe 4 Nächte übernachtet: Kein einziges Mal wurde der Mülleimer entleert. Zufällig traf ich am Gang Putzpersonal und bat um frische Handtücher und dass der Müll entsorgt wird. Die Handtücher würden mir auf das Bett gelegt, der Müll blieb.
5) Das ist kein Hotel: Es sind Zimmer mit Schlüsselboxen. Ein Hoteleingang ist zwar vorhanden, ist aber zugesperrt und in 4 Tagen war die Tür immer zugesperrt. Also nur Fake-Eingang. Auf 2 Emails wurde nicht geantwortet.
6) Das Bad ist in einem erbärmlichen Zustand: Alt und dreckig ...
7) Die alte Bude ist extrem hellhörig: Auch ein Tür, die am Gang zugeht, spürt man am Fußboden im eigenen Zimmer.
7) Der Preis für diese Unterkunft ist ein Witz, zumal es in der Stadt andere schöne Unterkünfte zu diesem Preis gibt.
Ich frage mich nach wie vor, wie es zu dieser Hotelbewertung kommt.
8) Alles in allem ein katastrophaler Aufenthalt ohne Möglichkeit mit dem Management zu kommunizieren.

Pros:

The location was excellent, self check in, we got the key from the key box. The room was a nice size, comfortable bed and a nice size bathroom. Overall a really good place to stay.

Cons:

The room door didn't lock automatically you had to lock it manually, didn't see ANY staff. The parking was a bit ropey, there are only 3 spaces @ £15 a day and 1 could be blocked in.

If we ever travel to Lancaster again, this is definitely where we would book again.
Pros:

Given the price paid, the quality of the room and comfort of the bed vastly exceeded my expectation. This sounds a little like damming with faint praise. In fact, for our needs, the room was almost perfection, as was the location of the hotel relative to the city centre. What capped our visit was that the staff in the adjacent headquarters of the hotel group were also prepared to store our baggage pre/post check in, at least during working hours, greatly facilitating our visit.

Cons:

The only slight niggle we had was that the shower end of the bath had reached the point where some regrouting would be appropriate.

Short stay in Lancaster
Pros:

The location was excellent
The bed was comfortable
TV. Electric fan and Iron were provided.
The room was quiet and spacious.
There was a clear notice about noise, visitors etc

Cons:

Our room did not have a window
The room had a skylight and a bathroom window.
There was no fridge; if you want coffee. take some coffee mate.
There was only one chair in the room.
Room service is by arrangement with reception, it is not automatic

It was a good 2 star hotel, no more.
Pros:

The location is excellent for central Lancaster, Castle, Priory and town.
The bed was very comfortable and the room clean.
Pre arrival communication (with Marta) re parking, luggage drop etc was very good.

Cons:

A number of small factors, which the hotel are addressing so it is unfair to itemise, lowered the room score.
Our room 7, was atop of 2 flights of very steep, large rise would be tricky with heavier cases or any lack of mobility.
No room daily housekeeping meant used tea and coffee not replaced etc. It could be that one could get replacements from reception, but it is not publicised.

Disappointed. Was unclean and noisy.

The location was close to where I was working.

Cons:

It wasn’t clean, there was hair on the towels, stains on the walls. Additionally the main road was extremely loud and due to the single glazing you could hear everything, including people leaving the pubs. Not much sleep was had.

Comfortable clean room, in the heart of Lancaster city centre. Would stay again.
Pros:

Super king size bed was very comfortable. Central location, great for people travelling by train, right near shops.

Cons:

Found the stairs difficult but shouldn’t be an issue for younger , fitter folk 😁

A comfortable stay!
Pros:

Very comfortable place to rest for a night. Central with a parking area just down the road. Easy access and very comfortable bed.
