Comfy inn close to the beach
Pros:

A few steps away from the beach, the inn is a lovely spot to stay in Anstruther.

The self check-in had some issues that were resolved smoothly once I got hold of the staff, they offered to give me a bigger room for my hassle, which I didn't take, as the room I booked was fine too. It was cozy and clean, very well decorated, with a provided kettle and tea/coffee.

The breakfast buffet is small but it has most of the substantial things, it would be nice to have regular instant coffee available as well as decaf.

Cons:

The entrance was harder to find even with the instructions for self check-in.

Such wonderful hosts, a great spot in a beautiful Fife coastal town
Pros:

The owners and staff were so kind and so helpful, this really made the stay even better than hoped. And the continental help yourself breakfast was way above expectations; boiled egg machine, fresh fruit. Opposite a little beach and in the heart of everything. It was so comfy and clean, recommended!

Cons:

There was a person blabbing at 4am below our room, it made my partner start growling!

Won’t be back
Cons:

You had to let yourself in your own room after spending time working out what room we were in we finally got in. No staff on hand to offer support.
The kettle had to be plugged in on the floor to boil not very safe

You got breakfast that looked like it had been there for days you also helped yourself to this

Anstruther was an excellent stop for a few day. The location was ideal for full day hikes allowing for a coach on retur
Pros:

All staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was cozy and had everything that I needed. Continental breakfast was great. The coach is just steps way. I would love to return.

Beds were clean.

Cons:

Room was very small; bathroom was also very small; soap ran out after 1 handwashing. Breakfast was poor. Urn was not filled on second morning for breakfast tea. Hostess came into breakfast room to ask how we slept then went back through to bar.
