This was such a hidden gem. The views were unbelievably good, staff super friendly and attentive to every need… they even bought playing cards for us on our first night!
The property was brand new and had a few teething problems with things like having the amazing pool ready and streaming services set up… but they were so attentive they fixed things immediately!

Wunderschöne und ruhig gelegene Anlage. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt, waren leider nur 1 Nacht - hier könnte man es aber definitiv ein paar Tage länger aushalten. Der Pool ist ein absoluter Traum und sehr sauber! Essen war richtig lecker und eine riesige Auswahl an Gerichten. Das Personal war super freundlich und zuvorkommend! Wir hatten einen etwas größeren Gekko im Zimmer, der Manager ist extra in unserer Zimmer und hat ihn gefangen! Die Zimmer sind riesig und das Bad der absolute wahnsinn, hab sowas noch nie gesehen diese Badewanne unglaublich! Wir haben die Unterkunft aufgrund der Lage gewählt, weil wir ganz früh zum Lions Rock wollten, dort wurden hin gefahren und auch wieder abgeholt, kostenlos. Haben uns hier wirklich rund um wohl gefühlt und würden wieder kommen, wenn wir mal wieder nach Sri Lanka gehen.

This was our favorite hotel out of the four hotels we stayed at during our 16-day trip to Sri Lanka. We loved everything about it!
The hotel feels incredibly homey and personal. The staff are amazing genuinely thoughtful, warm, and attentive. They give you all the privacy you want while always being available whenever you need anything.
We stayed here for four nights, and our kids (ages 3 and 5) absolutely loved the pool and the bathtub. In fact, they were more excited about the hotel than some of our tour activities!
The chef even asked us what we wanted for breakfast, and we requested Sri Lankan breakfast. He made sure we got to try different local dishes every morning, and everything was delicious.
We actually had dinner at the hotel every night too because the food was just that good. We never felt the need to look for other places to eat.
We will definitely be back and stay longer next time. This hotel showed us that what truly makes a stay special isn’t how grand the property is, but how welcome and comfortable it makes you feel. Thank you to the entire team for making our family vacation so memorable.

The biggest surprise was the staff, always smiling, friendly and very helpful.
An absolutely amazing hotel - comfy room, huge bathroom, great view over Lion's Rock, a great pool, the food was amazing and came in astonishingly big portions. The biggest thing that stood out was the care and attention from the staff, who were all super helpful and friendly throughout our stay.
Chambre spacieuse et confortable. Personnel aux petits soins. Petit-déjeuner délicieux et piscine fabuleuse. Le service est un peu long pour les repas. Proche des rochers.

My stay here was absolutely unforgettable. The view of the Lion Rock from my room was breathtaking, and the atmosphere was truly magical. But what really made the experience exceptional was the team. Everyone was so warm and genuine; it felt less like staying in a hotel and more like being with family. It was such a pleasure to connect with each of them individually—they truly went above and beyond to make my stay special. I am leaving with a heart full of wonderful memories. Highly recommended!

The power kept cutting especially at night, which was annoying
We had an amazing stay here for 4 nights. The staff do their utmost best to make you feel at home and help you. Even provided a birthday cake for the wife! You have a stunning view on Lion Rock from everywhere; restaurant, pool, balcony. Although you need a 10-15 min TukTuk for the city, the views are worth it, and restaurant has plenty options to keep you covered.
Minor detail is that the breakfast (fruit, toast, egg) gets repetitive when staying as long as we did. If we had more choice/variation, the hotel would be a 10/10.
