Fantastic location: just next to the train station and at the start of the Mizuki Shigeri road, super convenient. The hotel is set up as a Japanese-style hotel, but then in a modern way. Very clean and spacious rooms. Nice onsen on the 12th floor with a view over the town. Take a train towards the coast line, very nice beach to have a stroll on (rough ocean though).
The check-in process was a bit confusing. There were three self-check in screens, however still staff came to help everyone. It looked to me that it would have been more convenient (and more personal) to just have two staffed counters.
It might be better to take your dinner in the hotel (you need to reserve a ticket), most restaurants around the hotel close really early. The town is like a ghost town when it gets dark.

とにかく部屋の中に髪の毛がたくさん落ちていて不快だった。ベッドメイク後、コロコロで髪の毛掃除専属の人で掃除すべき。
Lovely helpful staff! Nice onsen, comfortable beds (you can swap out the hard pillow) and lots of parking (however, it was 600 p/night!). Nearby two big supermarkets and some great kissaten which were open early.
Amenities were not fab - powder tea and wasteful coffee drip packs (they included a stirrer, sugar and creamer so if you wanted coffee you had to either use these or they go to waste); lifts took ages as there are only two in large hotel; onsen was small relative to hotel so often busy; as above, parking was not free!
清潔感あり、フロアが靴を履かずに歩ける環境だったので、靴の脱ぎ履きなく過ごしやすかったです。

水木しげるロードの目の前にある為、夜の水木しげるロードも楽しむ事が出来た事や、チェックアウトした後も13時までそのまま宿の駐車場が使えたことがとても良かった。また、廊下に出ると他者の話し声は聞こえたが部屋内にいる分には壁が薄いと感じることもなく良かった。
初めてホテル宿泊をした為カードを入ってすぐ左の場所に差し込む事を知らず、テレビがつかない旨をフロントに電話して確認したところ、そんな事も知らないのかという抑揚で話をされた。私のように旅慣れていない者にも、もう少し優しく話てほしかった。対面でのスタッフの方の対応は良かっただけに、対面でない場合の電話対応では冷たくされせっかくの旅行で少し気分を害した。
夕食、朝食共に食事は値段に合っていないなと感じた。
