Relaxing seaside stay
Pros:

Stunning location right on the beach and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. My suggestion is to book a deluxe room instead of a standard room. The gym was well equipped and very clean. The spa treatment was amazing and very relaxing. All the food I had at the restaurant was delicious

Une agréable dernière étape
Pros:

Nous avions réservé cet hôtel pour notre dernière nuit au Sri Lanka avant de reprendre notre vol retour, et c’était un très bon choix.

La piscine est très grande et agréable, avec une belle vue sur la mer. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié le spa, très professionnel et parfait pour se détendre avant un long voyage.

La salle du restaurant donne directement sur la mer, ce qui rend les repas particulièrement agréables. Le petit-déjeuner était très bon et généreux, comme souvent au Sri Lanka.

Une étape confortable et reposante pour terminer notre voyage avant de rejoindre l’aéroport.

Cons:

La climatisation de la chambre était assez bruyante. Par ailleurs, notre vol retour étant prévu en pleine nuit, nous avions demandé s’il était possible de bénéficier d’un départ tardif. Aucune solution particulière ne semblait prévue et on nous a proposé de conserver la chambre en payant une nuit supplémentaire, à un tarif assez élevé.

En consultant nous-mêmes Booking.com, nous avons constaté qu’il était possible de réserver cette même nuit pour un tarif environ deux fois moins cher. Lorsque nous sommes retournés à la réception, on nous a alors confirmé que c’était effectivement la solution la plus avantageuse.

Il aurait été appréciable que cette possibilité nous soit suggérée dès notre première demande. L’hôtel étant proche de l’aéroport, nous ne devons certainement pas être les seuls voyageurs à avoir un vol tard dans la nuit et à souhaiter conserver une chambre quelques heures supplémentaires

Amazing sunset great staff
Pros:

Really nice place to stay fopr the airport. Very comfortable, amazing sunset views and a lovely place to have aswim in the pool and a few drinks while waiting to go out and have dinner nearby

Highly recommend the beautiful hotel, amazing staff - but eat elsewhere and don't get a massage
Pros:

The room was spacious and had a view of the beach and pool area, which was lovely, and the balcony was a lovely little sun trap.
Staff were really great, attentive and great service.
Pool area ON the beach was absolutely lush.

Lovely welcome drinks, felt very luxurious upon arrival.

Very comfy bed.

There's a gym which had some decent equipment. Not quite the amount you'd find in a european gym, but compared to other gyms we'd been to in Sri Lanka, very good.

Cons:

We found the food really disappointing, to the point where we started feeling bad about complaining and having issues with it. The staff were fantastic and took everything on board and offered to remake things and took things off the bill, but ultimately we did just want a nice meal!
We had to send a few meals back that were just really dreadful. I had quite high expectations because I'd heard good things about Jetwing but I guess this was a more budget Jetwing!

The spa... our massages were terrible. We both had a massage and it was the worst massage we've both ever had... We get massages whenever we can so have had some amazing ones. This was really not good, barely felt anything and another guest kept knocking the door to get the woman's attention during mine so was disturbed quite a lot.

Meer dan prima voor (in ons geval) 2 nachten
Pros:

De locatie is top, leuke restaurantjes zijn op loopafstand en het personeel is heel erg vriendelijk! Ze hielpen met onze bagage uit en in onze tuktuk en bij aankomst kregen we een drankje. Verder heeft het hotel 2, simpele, maar prima zwembaden met heerlijke ligbadjes en hebben ze een minigym wat prima was.

Cons:

Wij kregen een kamer aan het zwembad. Deze was erg gehorig, doordat er een grote kier zit onder aan de deur. Ook zijn de kamers een beetje gedateerd, waardoor onder andere de airco erg veel lawaai maakt en het snachts te warm is om deze uit te zetten. Een voordeel was wel dat we mooi uitzicht hadden, maar als je enige privacy wil dan moet je de gordijnen dicht doen en dus geen uitzicht meer.

Pros:

Habitación amplia y con vistas a la playa. Desayuno buffet bueno.

Cons:

Hotel con alto precio para la zona, esperábamos bastante más de él y no nos ha merecido la pena la relación calidad-precio. Aunque la habitación es correcta, amplia y limpia, le falta una renovación para llegar a la categoría y al precio. El desayuno es bueno, pero caro también. La recepción está cuidada, pero los pasillos de las habitaciones muy dejados y sucios (ventanas completamente opacas). La playa también bastante dejada. Mucho personal con interés en vender actividades o sesiones de Spa, pero con pocas ganas de ayudar sin remuneración de por medio. Esto último es algo que resulta muy extraño en Sri Lanka, ya que este era el final de nuestro viaje y hasta ahora no nos habíamos encontrado con esta situación, todo lo contrario. Y referente a la ubicación, algo alejada de la zona de restaurantes, unos 10 minutos andando hasta que empieza a haber ambiente. En definitiva, hotel de 4 estrellas en cuanto a precios, pero no en todo lo demás.

The stay here was great.
Pros:

Beautiful hotel in the beach with lovely views. Lovely breakfasts with amazing staff. Bed and pillows comfortable. Lovely refreshing drink on arrival at check in.

Pros:

We decided to stay our last 2 nights in Sri Lanka here and it was soo good. Staff are ***** , the best. Bedrooms are big, The bed soo confy, really good balcony views. Bathroom big, really really good buffet breakfast menu with everything. 2 fantastic swimming pools just in front of the beach.
They have spa but I didn't went.

Excellent place on the beach to start or finish your time in Sri Lanka
Pros:

Big modern rooms with powerful aircon (partly powered by a 140kw solar array 👏), two excellent pools and a spectacular beach, cocktail bar with interesting local twists on classics such as mojito and margarita, able to organise local excursions at short notice, abundant staff ready to help. 25 mins by taxi from the airport

Cons:

Genuinely happy with everything. Only misgiving is a 10% service charge on excursions, I would be optimistic to think this went to the service provider

Instalaciones y habitaciones muy descuidadas
Pros:

El personal muy servicial. La ubicación del hotel junto a la costa de Negombo. El acceso directo a la zona de playa aunque no te puedes bañar (bandera roja)

Cons:

Las instalaciones muy anticuadas y con falta de mantenimiento general. Los muebles de la habitación necesitan un cambio urgente. El frigorífico/minibar sucio y viejo y no funcionaba. Y lo peor sin duda fue encontrar una cucaracha en la habitación. La limoieza fue menos que justa.. No cumplió con unas expectativas mínimas de confort para el nivel de estrellas que indica tener.

Pros:

Das Frühstücksbuffet sowie das Abendessen waren sehr lecker. Wir hatten einen sehr netten Kellner, der sehr zuvorkommend war und seinen Job richtig gut gemacht hat.
Es gibt zwei Pools direkt am Strand. Sehr sauber gewesen.

Cons:

Das Zimmer ist in einem sehr alten Zustand. Alles in die Jahre gekommen und abgenutzt. Wir waren zum Glück nur für eine Nacht.
Geburtstagsarrangement haben sie trotz mehrfacher Ankündigung im Vorfeld leider ebenfalls nicht hinbekommen. Anstattdessen hat man uns für den „Early-Check-In“ noch 50 USD berechnet (das Hotel war leer).

Directe ligging aan het zwembad. Moesten de donkere gordijnen naar beneden doen om geen inkijk te hebben.
