Large room, captain suite. Balcony. Breakfast had fried bread , so hubby happy.
Room wasn't serviced in the 3 nights we were their. Noise from other people. Could hear them getting up in the night to go to toilet. Breakfast could off had more choice of fruit to go in youghart. Receptionist hardly acknowledged you, or even looked up when you walked through reception. Had the heating on full blast , so roasted at night . Undergoing a refurb
It was a good stop over location. Good evening meal in the clubhouse.
The hot breakfast wasn't very warm as all the lids were off the buffet. Small pount, there was a cabinet door banging in the night where the golf buggies were stood out the back.
Blue water suite, was really big room. Unfortunately looked into car park. Which gets very busy with beck n forth of cars and people outside. No view

When one of the gym patrons hit my parked car and damaged it badly. Actually he hit 3 cars

value for money for the booking, bar was expensive. It was all ok, the rooms were ok but not great, the food was ok, the breakfast was ok but nothing was great maybe the staff
The golf course, esp the greens and were the wild pigs and torn it op
It's cheaper and quieter than the Angel
It's slightly further to walk to my mum's house than the Angel

Dirty sheets, dirty room, staff non-existent, pay extra for a dog but get a worse room

Great location and walkable distance to town centre. Room was clean and had the necessary amenities within. Plenty of on site parking.
WiFi coverage was poor.
The room was very spacious, good value for the money
Great location for Coleford and Lydney with pretty surroundings. Although I didn’t eat in the restaurant it did look inviting.
It was very busy on a Sunday with Roast lunches.
Reception customer service is non existent.
