Pros:

La chambre était spacieuse et très confortable avec une ventilateur qui était silencieux. Bonne salle de bain également.
Nous avons très bien été accueillis par la famille. Lakmal est présent pour répondre à nos questions et nous donner de bons conseils. Il nous a même proposé de nous déposer en Tuktuk au rocher pour le lever du soleil, ce qui était très appréciable.

Cons:

Les extras proposés étaient un peu chers.

Great place to enjoy Sigiriya and Pidurangala Rock
Pros:

I was taken care of really well at Elephant Trio! My host took me to Pidurindala Rock at 5 am on his bike because of the danger of encountering wild elephants. I had a nice Sri Lankan breakfast. And, to help me get to the bus to Trincomaleee, my host drove me to Baharana (for a reasonable fee). A charming house very close to Pidurangala, nice host family, quiet and peaceful. Much recommended!

Pros:

Tot nu toe de fijnste accommodatie in Sri Lanka!! We hebben eerst de Pudurangala Rock beklommen om de zonsondergang te zien en mooi zicht te hebben op de Lion Rock. Bij terugkomst stond heerlijk eten klaar. En de nacht was voortreffelijk, ramen open, tralies tegen apen, klamboe tegen muggen en dan genieten van de dierengeluiden en wind. En de ochtend weer een lekker ontbijt, erg aardig gezin waar we verbleven!

Amazing place
Pros:

Absolutely lovely place! Room was nice and clean, host is very hospitable and helpful and the food is AMAZING. I hope we will have oportunity to be here again!

Aufenthalt und Unterkunft waren okay, aber beim Gastgeber fühlte ich mich nicht sicher!
Pros:

Frühstück und Abendessen sehr lecker, Unterkunft ist schön und die Lage ist toll. Direkt am Reißfeld und in der Nähe vom Pidurangala Rock.

Cons:

Der Gastgeber wurde mit der Zeit merkwürdig, hat mir privat komische Sachen geschrieben und ich fühlte mich als alleinreisende Frau nicht mehr sicher. Dringend und unbedingt als Alleinreisende aufpassen!

Ne vous privez pas de manger le soir chez eux. C'est délicieux !
L'emplacement est idéal pour monter au rocher de Pirudangala, meilleur point vu de Sigiriya. Les chambres sont propres et équipées avec les nécessaire.

Pros:

Bel balcone esterno immerso nella natura tanti animali

Cons:

La struttura purtroppo non é moderna, il bagno della camera completamente pieno di ruggine ovunque, doccia, lavandino, porta sapone, tutto pieno di ruggine. Inoltre il ventilatore (anch’esso con la ruggine) funzionava solo a velocità 2/3. La porta rimane socchiusa quindi entrano davvero molti insetti e il bagno nonostante abbia delle pseudo zanzariere é pieno di insetti che entrato non essendoci una finestra da poter chiudere. La colazione che ci hanno servito un giorno buona. la cosa peggiore di tutte al di là di questo é stata la posizione, nella foresta (non arrivano quasi nemmeno i tuktuk), lontana a piedi dal centro e da qualsiasi tipo di cosa.

Ужасные завтраки !!! Хозяин недоброжелателен.
Pros:

Хороший Wi-Fi, расположение рядом с джунглями.

Cons:

1) находится далеко от городка - рядом ничего нет. Так же хозяин будет вам навязывать свои услуги такси со завышенным ценам.

2) недавно на этой улице дикие слоны убили туриста из Венгрии.

3) УЖАСНЫЕ завтраки !!! Я объездил 15 разных гостевых домов - это самый ужасный завтрак , его по-просту нет.

4) хозяин будет всегда с недовольным лицом если вы не купите его экскурсии или услуги его такси.

This homestay was very nice. I had the feeling like I am in jungle. The house was near the Piturangala rock. There was a lot of beautifull birds and very cute, sweet dogs and it was peacfull, without tourist. We had a terace with view over the fields. The owner was helpfull, he helped us with planning, with the transfer and he was our private guide. He had good prices. His wife also showed my wife how to wear sari. They made a good breakfast, every day they served something different. It was always traditional. We also had dinner there and it was the best food we had in Sri lanka. The owner was amazing cooker. I fully reccomend this homestay.

Cons:

The owner was not very active on whatssapp, it was hard to connect with him in the begining. But when we arrived to the homestay, there was no problem with comunnication. The bathroom was sometimes a little bit smelly, but it was in good condition and it worked.

Super nette Gastgeber, es sar sehr ruhig. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Tolle Zeit.

Cons:

Sehr hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit, etwas zu weit von der Stadt, sodass man abends wegen Elefanten nicht mehr dort laufen sollte.

If you are looking for budget accom, in this location, this is it.
Pros:

Great location close to pidurangala rock, great breakfast, clean, great value!We were a late arrival and they were very accomodating, helped us with everything we needed.

Perfect for a short stay

The host is super friendly and offered to cook even when we arrived quite late.

Perfetto!
Pros:

Mi è piaciuta la posizione, la cena, la colazione (super abbondante). La famiglia che ci ha ospitato super gentile e super carina!

Cons:

Questione soggettiva il letto non mi ha fatto impazzire, ma so anche che è una questione soggettiva, sicuramente a qualcuno può piacere
