Perfekt läge mitt i centrum av Fuschl am See. Mysigt hotell i österrikisk stil. Fint rum med stor balkong. Mycket riklig och god frukostbuffé.

Wir waren froh, nur eine Nacht gebucht zu haben! Bei weiteren Buchungen über Booking.com passiert uns dieser Fehler sich

Die junge Dame am Abend in der Bar war sehr freundlich, aber da wir leider im Nebengebäude untergebracht wurden, kann ich nichts positives an der Unterkunft schreiben.

Cons:

Dieses Zimmer wurde bei Booking.com vom 4-Sterne Hotel Jakob angeboten. Daher sind wir davon ausgegangen, dass es sich auch um eine 4-Sterne Unterkunft, mit einem durchaus normalen Preis von € 242,—/Nacht, handelt. Wir waren die letzten Tage quer in Europa in Fremdenverkehrsorte unterwegs und hatten immer 4-Sterne Unterkünfte in ähnlicher Preislage gebucht.
Aufgrund einer vorherigen Doppelbuchung, waren wir leider unter Zeitdruck und hatten nicht auf die weitere Beschreibung geachtet. Unser Fehler! Ein total veraltetes Badezimmer mit schäbiger Wannenklappwand und einem Waschbecken mit einem Sprung. Der Kühlschrank im Zimmer war zwar aufgedreht, aber leer. Die Matratzen waren extrem weich und nur aus schäbigen Schaumstoff. Dass es sich hier um ein 3-Sterne Zimmer im Nebengebäude handelte, wurden wir erst am Abend aufgeklärt. Der Preis mit € 242,— inkl. Frühstück für 2 Personen pro Nacht für dieses Zimmer, ist eine Frechheit. Bei unserer Beschwerde bei der Rezeption, wurden wir nur nochmals über den 3-Sterne Hinweis auf Booking aufgeklärt und dass der Hausmeister sich die Beschädigung im Badezimmer ansehen wird. Sie würden sich über eine nochmalige Buchung freuen —> SICHER NICHT. Es ist sehr enttäuschend, dass man bei uns in Österreich solche Zimmer zu diesem Wucherpreis von einem 4-Sterne Hotel angeboten bekommt.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful location

Lovely hotel, wonderful location brilliant breakfast most days.

Cons:

Sunday breakfast was a bit hit and miss, even if the breakfast was scheduled to 10:30, from 09:30 many items were not replenished.

Väldigt bra semester på Hotel Jacob!
Pros:

Det var väldigt härligt att ha tillgång till stranden vid den vackra sjön och att kunna använda SUP-boarden. Trevlig personal, bra frukost, gullig by och bra hotell med allt man behöver.

Cons:

Det var varmt på rummet nattetid men så var det mitt i en värmebölja.

Pros:

Die Lage ist absolut traumhaft, privater Strand in paar Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.
Die Dame vom Hauskeeping hat sich sofort um einen Ventilator für uns gekümmert.
Das Personal allgemein sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Leider gibt es keine Klima und keine Minibar im Zimmer,was bei der Wärme sehr hilfreich gewesen wäre.

Wir kommen wieder.
Pros:

Wir haben sehr spontan gebucht und waren von der Unterkunft sowie vom freundlichen Personal positiv überrascht. Alles war sauber, gepflegt und wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt.

Cons:

Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt war, dass das oberste Zimmer leider keinen Balkon hatte. Gerade im Sommer wird es im Dachgeschoss doch sehr heiß, sodass ein Balkon eine schöne Ergänzung gewesen wäre.
