Soggiorno e ospitalità eccezionali!
Pros:

Struttura pulitissima e nuova, in mezzo alla pianura islandese più selvaggia e vicinissima a seljanfoss. Ci hanno permesso di cenare nella zona colazione utilizzando accessori e microonde, davvero gentilissimi!

Sadly, cannot recommend this hotel
Pros:

Nice location with view of mountains and Selja falls in the distance, very pretty.

Cons:

When arrived, farmer has tractor running in parking lot, diesel fumes & wagon contents had very strong smell; he had removed his rubber boots in the hotel foyer and they were quite dirty from the day’s work causing the whole lobby and hallway so smell very strongly of manure. He was checking all the room for some reason and the manure odor was on his clothing so the room took some time to air out. The hallway had the bad smell the whole time. We appreciate the farm environment but not the strong manure smell when livestock were nowhere near.
Shower not clean. There were clumps of something all over the tile.
Duvet cover was quite rough so not comfortable
There was a large sign in the room stating do not eat in the room or you will be charged an extra night

Einen Hinweis, dass man auf dem Zimmer nicht essen soll, hatten wir bisher auch noch nie.
Aber okay, es gibt ja im Eingangsbereich genügend Sitzmöglichkeiten.

Hotel nuovo, in mezzo a campi di lupini, in posizione estremamente tranquilla. La camera era abbastanza grande e pulita. Ottima colazione. Personale gentile.

Pros:

Ich wusste sehr zu schätzen, dass ich an jedem Abend mein Elektroauto umsonst laden konnte (es gibt aber nur einen Ladepunkt, Langsamlader).
Frühstück war gut.
Sehr ruhig.

Cons:

Kleines Zimmer. Kein Schrank/keine Kleiderstange. Begrenzte Ablagemöglichkeit im Bad.
Für mich persönlich war der sehr strukturierte Bettüberzug problematisch, ansonsten empfand ich das Bett als bequem.

Pros:

The room was immaculate and beds were very comfortable. I loved the view from the large windows looking across the fields to the mountains. It was very quiet at night. And breakfast was exceptional, especially the choice of coffees.

Tolles Hotel mit gutem Frühstük
Pros:

Hotel Selja liegt am Golden Circle und eignet sich super als Übernachtungsmöglichkeit für eine Rundreise.
Wir sind erst recht spät angekommen, was kein Problem war, denn ein Formular und unser Zimmerschlüssel lagen bereit.
Das Zimmer war groß und modern eingerichtet.
Die Heizung ließ sich individuell einstellen. So konnten wir sie gut nutzen, um unsere nassen Klamotten zu trocknen.
Das Bad hatte eine ebenerdige Dusche und war auch sonst gut ausgestattet.
Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer war toll.
Das Frühstück hat uns überrascht. Es gab alles, was wir brauchten und es wurde darauf geachtet, immer nachzufüllen.
Das Personal war sehr freundlich.
