Très bel hôtel au style ancien. Les chambres sont très bien décorées et spacieuses. Très bien situé à Franschhoek, possibilité de visiter le centre-ville à pied. Quartier calme.
Great location, clean and comfortable
Did not have breakfast, but the experience and overall comfort was exceptional. Very good value for money.
Loved the location and the decor. We particularly liked the room we were in which was at the end of the courtyard with a private entrance and was light and spacious, it was a Deluxe Suite. The Bathroom was lovely, particularly large & spacious. The bed was very comfortable with lovely linen. The kitchenette was useful (although the outdoor kitchen was v close by!) Not sure the room needed the large sofa, I felt it took up too much space.
Although we knew the pool was a plunge pool it was a bit of a disappointment. The days we stayed there 1 couple monopolised it! We would have liked breakfast to be included.
The decor
The hospitality of the owner and their kind attention to our late check in - was very touching. The rooms are incredible - SO spacious and the most beautiful interiors and attention to detail!! So peaceful and charming. The location was fab with Mountain View’s and easy access to the main road.
Absolutely nothing
The Belmont was perfectly located in town and Florence and the team took such great care of us - it felt like a home away from home. We can’t wait to return!

La suite familiale est un appartement décoré avec goût et très bien équipé. Idéal pour une famille avec un ou deux enfants. Il donne sur une piscine que nous n avons pas utilisé compte tenu de la saison mais en été c est un extérieur idéal avec un pool house très bien agencé et équipé. La proximité du centre ville est très appréciable.
Very central, beautifully furnished, bed is comfortable with good linen.
Since it’s an old house the rooms are not very soundproof so we unfortunately got woken up at 7am on a Sunday by other guests knocking on doors and talking in the passageway. The coffee machine was a bit tricky to work out and leaked when used. A private fridge would have been great in the room too.
