Lage und Garten, Ausstattung der Zimmer sehr gut , Personal an der Rezeption sehr nett
Frühstück war nicht im Garten/Terrasse möglich, obwohl sn det Rezeption eine Reservation von uns fürs Frühstück gemacht wurde!
Personal beim Frühstück unfreundlich, Kaffee ( Filterkaffee) nicht gut, Cappuccino wurde extra verrechnet…😅
Super refurbished hotel which we have stayed at many times.
Unfortunately, the restaurant is not fit for service. Needs lookimg at!
The garden was the highlight. The garden was a tranquil oasis in the middle of the city.
We also loved the patio restaurant. Most of the staff were welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable and went out of their way to help.
We booked the superior room, which was a decent size, had ample storage and a bathroom with 1 sink and shower with great water pressure.
The bed was comfortable. Mattress was on the firmer side and the pillows were medium.
Our view was onto the street with pretty buildings. It was quiet.
It was very hot in London. Even though the room had a/c, you could only put it down to 19 Celsius. Other hotels in London and Europe allow 16 Celsius. The windows only open a little bit. When the nights had cooled down and we could have had cool fresh air coming in, we barely noticed it. I always travel with a small fan and that helped. I’m in menopause and I’m always hot. A/C is very important to me, to get a good night sleep. I asked to put it further down, but they refused.
There was no outlet for a hair dryer in the the bathroom. I learned that it is an ordinance and they can’t put an outlet in the bathroom out of safety reasons. I wish that the outlet in the bedroom was closer to the mirror.
