Nothing
This is the second time I stayed at this location, and I specifically scheduled my trip thru Boise downtown to make sure I stay there overnight. My experience in both cases was absolutely exceptional. I travel a lot and spent many nights in the hotel, what I really like about this. One is the fact that it's very clean, the staff is a very accommodating, the location is phenomenal, so convenient on all levels!
Unfortunately, I was only there for one night.I wish I would have stayed longer.
The staff was very easy to deal with, and what I loved about the place is that it was very well located. Not to mention it was bright and clean and had a very great modern vibe while at the same time being very cosy. The robes were a special touch.
Coffee shop in the lobby is a plus. The front desk felt busy AND was responsive to questions. Easy walk to the Y for a workout and then to dinner. On-site parking worked because I was early in and hotel was not fully booked. Downtown Boise has a lot going on so this would be my one caveat.
It's a timing "thing" - the highly rated food truck that's right outside was closed.
Terrific location! Pet friendly room right off the courtyard and close to grassy area. Nice room with great amenities.
Location. Cute concept. Love the birds. My room was nice and they had great soap and shampoo.
My room was above the Lobby. You climbed an open staircase to a common area that was very hot. My room was just off that. It felt like a dorm. Opening my door and going out was weird when a person was hanging out there. I asked about the room and was told those were the only queen beds. The other area had kings and doubles. I will stay again but not in one of those rooms.
Loved almost everything
Did not love the stains on the hallway carpet, or the fact the doors slammed shut so noisily.
central location and easy walks to restaurants and venues downtown
Quiet and clean rooms right in downtown. Able to charge our electric car overnight.
The location was excellent and the staff was exceptional.
Not easy to get to our room. Had to go up steps to get to the elevator. TV service was unacceptable- if you wanted to watch anything you had to stream it thru your phone app. The room safe wasn’t working and we had to have a manager open the safe to get our stuff out.
Super cute boutique hotel. Design and art makes it fun and memorable. Great location in downtown. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Clean. Comfortable bed/bedding.
The size of the room was fine. However there are no drawers and there is not a closet. There is a small rack on the wall that has slots for 4 hangers only! For staying there for 3 nights/multiple outfits for 2 people, was not fun living out of the suitcase. Our room was off of the alley which is fine (not there for the view) but unfortunately we were there during trash pick up for two nights which woke us up at 4 am and again an hour later! The room comes with ear plugs and assumed it was for the noise from the bar directly next door. Ear plugs not helpful with sounds of dumpsters bashing down. Perhaps the other side of the hotel didn’t experience the noise.
From the outside the property appeared outstanding. Once you enter the hallway you are launched quickly back to the 90’s, only to be thrust into a cool room built on the cheap. The woman at the front desk when we checked in was super cool and even gave up her parking spot for us to use.
The inside common areas were very dated and stained, the bathroom door in our room was partially ripped off the wall and didn’t work well, and the men working at the front desk on Saturday wouldn’t have lifted a finger if I had dropped dead from a heart attack in front of them.
Location
Steps required before reaching elevator
Everything, was nice and clean.
Their was nothing I didn’t like
We have stayed here a few times and love it! Love the location and that it’s connected to a coffee shop and the fun upstairs hangout space.
We have had really good service in the past but this stay when we checked in, the garbages were not empty and there were things from previous occupants in the fridge. When we notified the staff, they were happy to come and empty things however if I was a cleaning supervisor, I would have encouraged the cleaning staff to not just empty the cans but to go the extra mile and make the bed and replace our mugs that we had used that morning…. It wasn’t dirty, but this time there seem to be less pride in the product of that makes sense.
