Very unpleasant stay

Sink blocked and whoever unblocked it didn’t lift towels from shelf therefore we had no towels and no phone in room to communicate with staff for replacement
Staff told me it was the solution to clear blockage had leaked through pipes!

Great location, but not suitable for light sleepers or menopausal women!!!
Pros:

Fantastic location, spotless, comfy beds. Staff were so lovely. Water and Taytos in the room were a lovely touch.

Cons:

The heat in the room was unbearable. Neither of us slept a wink, despite having a fan. There was one window that only opened a little bit , and we couldn’t leave it open because the noise from “The Dirty Onion” pub across the road would waken the dead. They did provide one set of ear plugs but they were useless.

Staff were kind and accommodating. Great location. Would recommend apart from unfortunate heat issue in rooms.

Good restaurant downstairs for breakfast/dinner

Cons:

Rooms were very very warm and no way to cool. Opening windows led to extreme noise from bar across the street.

Loud music to 1am Saturday. Stay just okay after that. Staff were good.

Very Loud music downstairs on Saturday night meant no sleep until after 1am. No real place to relax - it’s a restaurant / bar with rooms on top - don’t expect a hotel
