Tucked away on Drumsheugh Gardens, a hop from both Princes Street and Charlotte Square and between the Georgian New Town and the Victorian West End, The Resident Edinburgh is one of the newest additions to the city's hotel scene. 164 contemporary rooms and suites, each with a concealed signature mini-kitchen, en suite bathroom, commissioned artwork and designer-led Scottish furnishings.

As a regular visitor I am continually delighted by how well we are looked after.
Pros:

The staff's attention to detail is next level. Unlike many hotels where you get one or two great staff members, everyone at The Resident goes above and beyond for every customer.

when you look inside drawers etc, you see tons of dust. yes main/ visible parts are cleaned, but not enough and thorough cleaning!

Very good hotel and great staff!
Pros:

Staff was SUPER helpful. The trip was part of a birthday celebration and the staff and prepared the room with some nice decorations and a special treat in the room. The hotel is very well located, it's very comfortable and the rooms have everything you may need.
