Good location but shower and wardrobe need attention.
Pros:

Location and parking was good. David who took us to our room was very helpful and informative.

Cons:

Unable to open wardrobe doors as they were either stuck or locked? Shower was the worst I have ever experienced, hardly any pressure, took ages to get wet!

Pros:

Very friendly staff. Beautiful building. Great atmospheric bar. Would happily return.

Cons:

Needed a new mattress on the bed... A cheap investment that would have rated the stay to excellent.. Maybe the owners ought to try sleeping on the mattresses!!

Wouldn’t stay here again, the rooms were awful. Breakfast however was really good. Staff were friendly

We booked 2 rooms for 4 adults, of which one was supposed to be deluxe….it was a really small room up in the attic, with two single beds and just enough room to get around, it was dark and dingy and very hot. A fan was supplied which did absolutely nothing. The other room was just as small with two single beds, ( which I must say were comfortable) no curtain up at the window , so woke up really early with the light streaming in. A hot/cold fan was supplied which again did absolutely nothing.

We had a lovely stay and would stay here again when visiting.
Pros:

Very central with free car parking; lovely friendly and helpful staff. Property is a bit dated as you would expect with an old property but it was very clean and comfortable.

Despite a poor nights sleep, it was ok

Great location and suited our needs - I would stay here again.
Pros:

The location was good, there were some nice restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel which was really central and easy to get to other places from. We particularly liked the Wetherspoons and the Italian restaurant nearby. The room was basic but clean and cosy with tea and coffee facilities and drinking water. The bed was quite comfy and we slept well. The parking was good and felt safe and secure. The staff were very helpful with the restaurants in the local area and the pub had a friendly vibe. I would stay here gain.

Cons:

The breakfast was disappointing and I thought it was quite greasy and expensive for what it was.

All the people were very friendly and helpful. Parking was as would be expected and knowing that only clients of the company would be parking there made knowing there was a space there helped.
