Pros:

Friendly host who took so lovely care of me. I was so exhausted after the Cao Bang Loop, so they organized food for me. Everything is new, modern and clean.

Cons:

The matress was a little bit hard for me, but I also was sore after the Cao Bang Loop.

Très bien
Pros:

Chambre : bonne literie, propre, salle de bain bien, pas trop de lit. Personnel formidable, gentil et réactif. Le billard est un plus. Il y a une fontaine à eau.

Beautiful garden, quiet and open hostel
Pros:

If you want a super nice, quiet, comfy hostel, this is where to go. I loved it, especially because of its outdoor area, the garden. It's not super central, but that's what I liked. It's calm and open and still just a 10 minute walk to the centre.

Incroyable
Pros:

Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits en novembre à la Xenia House et tout a été absolument parfait. Cao Bang est le véritable coup de cœur de notre voyage, et cet établissement y est pour beaucoup !

Le personnel est d'une disponibilité incroyable. Ils nous ont aidés à organiser nos journées avec une agence d'Easy Riders, ce qui nous a permis de découvrir facilement les merveilles de la région : la Montagne Magique (Nui Thung) et les cascades de Ban Gioc, le tout en traversant des paysages absolument magnifiques.

L'équipe a multiplié les petites attentions, comme par exemple aller nous chercher des bières après une longue journée de scooter.
L'ambiance est conviviale avec un billard à disposition et des chiens adorables qui rendent le lieu très chaleureux.

Côté pratique, le service de lessive est top et l'emplacement est idéal : à seulement 10 min à pied du centre. Ne manquez pas le centre-ville le week-end, la rue devient piétonne et c’est l'occasion unique d’échanger avec les locaux et les jeunes étudiants d'anglais qui souhaitent pratiquer la langue avec le peu de touristes qu'ils croisent.
Un immense merci à toute l'équipe pour ces moments inoubliables !

Pros:

The hotel is brand new and comfortable, the room was clean. There is a pool table in the lobby and a nice garden with a barbeque.

Cons:

The owner does not speak any English, not a word. The hotel is located way off the town center. To get to the town need to walk about 20 min in more or less deserted areas, including handling a long stretch of steep stairs (there is a way without stairs but it is even longer). I would not recommend this place to travelers without transportation means, e.g. scooter.

Pros:

This is truly such a great hostel. It's very clean, the owner is such a helpful, friendly, and welcoming person, and the outdoor space is beautiful. I especially picked it because of that. The hostel sits on a small hill 10-15 min walking from the city center, so it's pretty quiet up there and you can relax in the garden in the sun.

Un hôte parfait !!
Pros:

La personne qui vous acceuil est d'une gentillesse indéfinissable. Quoi vous lui demandiez il vous répondra dans la minute!!
La chambre était nikel, propre, jolie et confortable. Parfait !!

Cons:

L'isolation n'était pas terrible. On entend les gens parler dans les couloirs à toute heure car ça résonne.

We had superb views.
The owner was very kind and accommodating.
When we arrived our bikes were covered in mud and they let us use their hose to wash them down.
They did our laundry
