Perfect central location walking distance from the main sites and many good cafes and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was large, bright and very comfortable with a nice balcony to sit out on… and breakfast was great
It was a good location and clean
It was over priced for what you got. First day for breakfast no staff they finally showed up. Did not like it. When I left I was charged 52 US for a large bottle of water, some laundry and taxi to airport. Taxi was only 20.
A great place at the center point of Vientiane. The rooms are huge and spacious, The hotel decor looks old, like an old luxury hotel that is very well kept. The quality of services and breakfast are top notch.
The place is not new and that's part of the charm of the place. But if you are looking for the most modern facilities and design, this place is probably not for you. But everything is clean very well maintained, so it's only a matter of style.
This hotel has character - which is more than what can be said about many hotels. Really helpful staff and great breakfast. Our room was really spacious and the bed was excellent.
• Good location
• Elegant and charming decor
• Complimentary upgrade to Premier room
• Semi-buffet breakfast included (love the chicken porridge)
• Showing a bit of age especially the toilet
the room was nice enough
noise from the hilton was loud and awful
It is in the historical area, which is convenient for sightseeing. Staff is really kind and helpful.
None.
Met all of our expectations, lovely decor, great staff and nice breakfast.
Everything. This hotel is beautiful the rooms and facility have a 1940s feel. The terrace for each sweet is beautiful. The location is great close to the night markets and so many other attractions The staff was wonderful the young lady, I believe her name is Malory, at the front desk was so helpful and checked us in early as well as help us with directions and getting a cab and making recommendations where to go.
On the last day our key card didn’t work but she got it fixed quickly and had maintenance come to replace the batteries to the lock.
I highly recommend including their breakfast as your first meal of the day. Again perfect service and great food.
I can’t say enough nice things about this hotel. I will definitely stay here again. I would rate it higher if I could. Thank you.
The only issue, and it is not the properties fault is the construction and the sidewalks. However in about a year this will be solved. They are doing major renovations to this area and building some beautiful new hotels and updating the sidewalks. Once complete this area will be the place to be in Vientiane.
I would not let this stop me from visiting this beautiful city.
Really central location but we asked for and were given a quiet room. We were upgraded to a premium suite. After booking, I found it $200 cheaper so rebooked. Very attentive staff who gave us good advice. Lovely old fashioned hotel with solid furniture.
Dinner was poor. No wine! And limited choice, not terrible tasty.
The excellent friendly staff
Nothing
This is a beautiful hotel. The foyer, bar and restaurant are very elegant and the rooms are large and comfortable. Most of all the staff are friendly, kind and very welcoming. I highly recommend this property.
