We had the room facing the street. It was a bit noisy and hot. We could also hear what happens in the corridor.

lost in time, very old and very dirty! the rug was from the last century, the food was canned.
They took full advantage of the Wimbledon championship. We stayed in the attic..
Honestly,everething there should be turn down... it's a health hazard !!!

I have to say, I am absolutely disgusted by the cost of this room for the night because it was Wimbledon final - we did expect to pay more than the going rate but just checked the price for the same day next weekend and it is £175 cheaper!
Once we got into our room after we had been given a room that had not been cleaned from the previous nights guest, we found it to be nicely kitted out with a really good fan for the warm evening, bed was comfortable and some really nice touches in there such as snacks drinks and tea and coffee - however it was not clean. Carpet was absolutely stinking dirty. There was a very suspicious brown stain on the door frame of the bathroom, very dusty, toothbrush holder had mildew inside it. Really really unacceptable for the £244 we paid for the night (would over look a lot more at the following weeks £69!!)

But the room was considerably better than the hallway you have to come up to get to the rooms, carpets were horrendously dirty and the smell just got worse the lower you got. Hotel exit was past all the bins which were awful, rat traps clearly visible.

The only redeeming thing of the property really was the lady (assuming the manager) was brilliant, she was absolutely mortified when she’d mistakenly sent us to a used room (sounds like a mishap on the system) she was so apologetic and super professional.

It might just be London prices or because Wimbledon was on but it’s quite expensive for what it is.
Due to the weather / temperature we had it was very hot in the room and on a main road so road traffic noise.

It would be much better to have a small table at side of bed to put a drink on and charge phone on instead of using the chair which is getting cup bottom marks on and a small lamp would be useful to
