It's always difficult to feel safe as a female solo traveler, specially when you are staying in a room in someone's place, but that wasn't a problem at Asher's. He was very friendly and the hospitality was great. The entire place was immaculate, not just the room but also the shared bathroom and living room/kitchen. He even offered transport to/from the city on his way to work which was very convenient. The place is very near to the co-op live stadium so its a perfect location if going there which was my case. But it is also just 15 min bus ride from the city center, so very convenient location.
Great quiet location, only a mile from my event venue. The host was lovely and could not have been more helpful or welcoming. The flat was immaculately clean with loads of lovely homely touches. Really handy to have the use of a kitchen as well.
It wasn't a problem, but I didn't realise the host was also living there, so the facilities including the bathroom were shared (I filtered for private bathroom). The host was out in the evening anyway and was very nice, so I didn't feel uncomfortable

The place was extremely clean and Asher went out of his way to make sure my visit was comfortable.
I felt completely at home during my stay. It’s a calm, peaceful place and everything was exceptionally clean. The owner was very kind and helpful, he even offered transport, provided meals, and gave me great recommendations on what to see. I truly appreciated the hospitality and can only recommend this accommodation.

It was clean tidy and in easy access to the event I was attending.
Did not like the feel of security.
The front door to the property was to be left open as I was not given a key. I was given a key to my bedroom.
Also the feeling of breaking the law by not having a key to the main entrance to the building was not nice. Had to yank the door hard to gain entry instead.
I would be not returning

Loved the access to public transportation as well as the cleanliness and peace and quiet of the apartment. The host, Asher, was kind and flexible as well. Very hospitable.
It should be classified as a Private Room with Shared Bathroom and Common Space. Luckily I had no issues or problems with the host and someone who may have been another guest one night but this could surprise and possibly be a problem with maybe women traveling solo or people with valuables.
The host is very friendly and helpful, the flat is rather big and comfortable, it's clean in general, close to O2 Manchester
I found some hair in the bathtub, so I can't give the highest mark for the cleanliness. The host stays in the same flat, which I didn't realise when booking, although I saw him only at the beginning of my stay, but still it might be uncomfortable for a solo travelling woman.
Host was excellent, every facility you could need. Would definitely use Ashers place agsin.
