RECOMMENDED FOR AN AUTHENTIC AND UPSCALE EXPERIENCE
Pros:

10 room boutique hotel with friendly staff. Pretty design, good location (center is a 5 minute walk away) in the style of a ryad.

Cons:

A few practical things were missing. We travel with a lot of luggage and closet space was adequate but like if there were some hooks in the room and bathroom. There is plenty of space to add some hooks (back of the doors and in the room). This is merely a suggestion. Light switches are a tad confusing and never figured out how to turn only the reading light by the bed on. With the use of e-readers not so relevant, but what of you wanted to read a book or magazine.
Room service was great. Breakfast was friendly and very good, although get used to most service people not speaking any English in this part of the world, so the translator app came in handy. Restaurant menu looked very good as well, although we never made it upstairs to eat.
Very friendly owner, porter and all staff.

Pros:

The hotel itself was very lovely, with clean rooms and very comfortable beds. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, particularly when the weather changed unexpectedly and we needed to adjust our plans. Their assistance in that situation was greatly appreciated and made the stay more enjoyable overall.

Cons:

We were disappointed by the handling of a late checkout request. The room availability was confirmed, but the actual late checkout charge was not clearly communicated beforehand and only appeared on the bill at departure. We also felt that some of the later customer service responses were defensive and implied that the charge had been explained at the time, which did not reflect our recollection of events.
Although the hotel later acknowledged this and offered a partial refund, we felt the situation could have been handled more transparently and fairly.
The dispute significantly spoiled the overall experience

Frühstück völlig überteuert. Jede Butter, Marmelade ja sogar jede weitere Tasse Kaffee kostet extra
Rezeptionsdame unterirdisch. Man wird behandelt wie ein Aussätziger
Am Ende noch als Lügner hingestellt, welcher von Anfang an auffällig war.....
Ach ja. Dachterrasse bei besten Wetter, Ende April, winterfest verpackt. Bar am Dach geschlossen

Beautifully renovated hotel
Pros:

The location was perfect, on the edge of the old town, right next to the cathedral..
It was easy to find, and they took our car and parked it for us.
The design of all the areas was in keeping with the age of the building.
Our room was very comfortable and spacious.
The shower was great, and loved the Molton Brown products.
All the staff were very welcoming and friendly and gave us good advice about where to go.
The rooftop terrace had a small pool, and great views of the cathedral

Cons:

We were a bit challenged by the lighting controls!
