Amazing property with astonishing view and friendly owner
Best property ever seen
Would like to receive clean towels more often and room service .
The absolute highlight is the breathtaking view from the room over the ocean – especially at sunset it is simply spectacular and made our stay feel very special.
Claudio and his family were always friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated their welcoming manner. The breakfast service by Chris was outstanding – he was attentive, upbeat and made sure we started each day in the best possible way. Overall, Chris made the difference for us at our stay. The choice at breakfast is quite limited, but it is freshly and individually prepared; you pre‑order what you’d like so it can be made for you each day.
The room itself is simple but okay and offers everything you basically need for a few days. Cleanliness was generally acceptable, though there is still some room for improvement. The only downside for us was that the level of privacy did not always feel ideal, as the owner’s apartment was directly next door and we were unable to lock the inner entrance door to our apartment.
Overall, we had a good stay with unforgettable views, nice hosts and personal breakfast service – with a bit more focus on privacy, a bit wider breakfast selection and some fine‑tuning in terms of cleanliness, this place could easily reach 5 stars.
Die Lage des Gästehauses war super. Tolle Aussicht beim Frühstück. Es wurde immer frisch zubereitet nach unseren Wünschen. Leider mussten wir für mehr als 1 Tasse Kaffee und Orangensaft zusätzlich Geld bezahlen.
Die Familie Papale war super freundlich und auch die Pizzen haben super geschmeckt. 👍
Die Gegend ist super sicher!!!! Das Amalfi Zimmer hat eine schöne Terrasse mit Meerblick. Sogar die Dusche ist mit Meerblick. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Das Bett hätte breiter sein können und Zusatzkosten waren für uns nicht übersichtlich definiert, zumal wir bei booking.com mit Frühstück gebucht haben.

best location around cape town: it's safe & quiet with a beautiful view on the ocean. room is very large and includes shared pool-deck with sun loungers. very nice host serving a great breakfast each morning. we'll be back, next time for a week or so.

Amazing view and wonderful breakfast from Chris! Staff was very friendly and helpful! Everything was wonderful! Highly recommend!
Only improvement needed would be addition of air conditioning (we stayed during one of the hottest weeks of the season). Also if the pool was heated a bit, it would he more pleasant.
The room was excellent with a stunning sea-view balcony. The staff were friendly and always available to assist. The breakfasts were delicious.

Can’t fault it
Der Blick ist gigantisch, die Lage am Meer auf dem Hügel wunderschön.
Die Küche war entgegen der Beschreibung wenig ausgefüllt, z.B. gab es lediglich zwei ungleiche Weingläser, Kaffee war entgegen der Beschreibung nicht vorhanden, der Kühlschrank ließ sich nur mit Gewalt schließen.
Der Safe im Schlafzimmer war schon länger defekt ( Batterie ausgelaufen). Im Bad waren lauter Abflussfliegen . Bei Ankunft waren die Liegen am Pool völlig durcheinander, die Sonnenschirme bereits abgebaut, lagen am Rande rum. Hinter dem Gebäude war Müll gesammelt. Morgens um 6/ 6:30 Uhr wurde in der Outdoorküche neben den Zimmern lautstark das Personal in den Arbeitstag eingewiesen- Ausschlafen dadurch nicht möglich. Das Frühstück musste am Abend vorher per Bestellformular angemeldet werden, obwohl inbegriffen. Zudem war die Qualität des Frühstücks schlecht und lieblos.
Gesamteindruck sehr lieblos. Und ist es ein Rätsel wo die vielen positiven Bewertungen herkommen.
